It’s RELEASE DAY! The 6-in-1 Splooting Bear crochet pattern is now available in my Etsy shop 🐻✨ I love this pattern and I’m so happy to be able to put it out for you all.

AmiguruMay Day 3: Introduce yourself!
Hi! I’m Sarah. I’ve already introduced myself a little on this account, but why not do it again? So here’s goes: I’m a crocheter as I bet you’ve noticed, but I’ve also been a cross-stitcher, sewist, and oil painter. To pay my bills, I’m a library worker (and I love it!) but I’ve also been a tattoo artist, book editor, and makeup artist. I have a degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Art History. My favorite music genre is citypop and yacht rock and my favorite band is ABBA. As you can see, I’m not great at staying on top of what’s trendy or cool. My favorite Muppet is Rizzo the rat. My first Neopet (R.I.P.) was a yellow Kau named Brandy. I met my husband on Tinder; it’s the best thing the internet has ever done for me. We have two beautiful cats. My senior cat Penny has four teeth and drools and loves watching history docs with her dad. Juniper was named after Junie B. Jones because she’s also a menace (and was adopted on June 1st) and she loves supervising me in the craft room. I cried the first time I played Pikmin and a Pikmin died (I didn’t know they could die that’s fucked up they’re just little guys.) My personal style has been described by multiple people as “kindergarten art teacher.” That’s all I can think of for now! But yeah, that’s the person behind this silly lil account 🌷✨

🍁This is not a no/low sew project. Please be comfortable sewing when necessary.

Meet Cozette! Tester call coming soon! Cozette is a darling pumpkin gal who loves a stroll through the corn maze or pumpkin patch, trading gossip and reading recommendations with her fellow pumpkins. What’s in her bag? Bodice Rippers with Fabio covers and the occasional murder mystery. Coziness is a way of life for this pumpkin.
She’s my latest pattern and the answer to my desire for more plus sized doll patterns. Her tester call is coming very soon! I know she’s a little late in the season, but I didn’t want to rush her. I hope you like her as much as I do ❤️

As a former library kid and current library worker, it’s a no brainer that I would be a big fan of @mychal3ts and his literacy and mental health advocacy. I don’t often talk about it, but I’ve had my fair share of mental health problems in my lifetime and I cannot tell you how refreshing and comforting it is to hear that you’re not alone, it’s okay to not be okay, and it’s okay to talk about it. Thank you, Mychal. 💛
This plushie and its book are being donated to my library for our staff day! Every year staff donate to raffle off and share our handmade items and other goodies with each other. I’d be happy for this to go to anyone, but I do secretly have my fingers crossed for the Children’s staff 🤫 I’ve already donated a plushie owl (our mascot Owlbert!) but I wanted to also donate a crochet item I designed myself. I won’t be releasing this as a pattern (sorry!) It’s a one off made with lots of love and that’s okay! It was very fun designing a real person and trying to figure out what elements absolutely had to be there like Mychal’s iconic hair and headband and of course a very fun printed shirt. I hope I captured the very warm and welcome presence @mychal3ts always shares with us 💛

TESTER CALL [CLOSED] Hello, friends!
I am looking for 6-8 testers for my Belinda Bat crochet pattern. Belinda is a darling fruit bat who prefers smoothies over blood, but she loves dressing up like her vampire bat cousins with her red dress and cape. Will you help me get her pattern ready? 🦇✨
If you’re interested here is the info:
🦇this is NOT a low/no sew pattern. You will need to be comfortable sewing the wings, head, and ears.
🦇this tester call will close 9/2/26 and the testing deadline is September 16th. Please only apply if you have time! I’m flexible with deadlines, but I would really like this pattern to be out mid-September.
