🚨Freeze and Fujita’s Surgery Fund🚨

Unfortunately both Freeze and Fujita have developed mammary tumors at the exact same time in the exact same place. As they are sisters, genetics likely have caused this to happen. Because they’re still relatively young ratties, we’re hoping that tumor removal surgery will give them a longer and happier life that they both rightfully deserve.

As two surgeries at the same time will be a financial strain for the FriendlyRatForecast household, we’re launching a GoFundMe campaign to hopefully ease some of that tension. Freeze and Fujita will get the care they need regardless, but any donations to their medical fund will help more than you could imagine. We thank you all for your support and words of encouragement ❤️🐀🐀 by @friendlyratforecast

🌧️Drizzle Update🌧️
🚨TW: pets passing away, illnesses🚨

A couple days ago, Little Miss Drizzle decided to join her fellow D-Squad members over the rainbow bridge. After a long battle with mammary tumors and hind-leg degeneration, she suffered some sort of seizure and passed away quickly in my arms. Drizzle left this mortal realm just weeks after her 3rd birthday, and I am beyond thankful that I got to spend so much time with her.

Drizzle was a relatable little potato. She was antisocial yet playful, loved performing tricks for treats, and each day her personality alternated between sweet and sassy. She was so fun to be around and was an amazing mentor to Freeze, Fujita, and Flurry. After having surgery in December 2025, I was told that she would probably survive only a couple more months. Instead, Drizzle laughed in the grim reaper’s face and live for almost another entire year. She was resilient, energetic, and even the day before her passing was dragging a toy pumpkin around the playpen. She lived her life happily right until the very end, and I’m so glad I had so much time to love her.

Thank you for letting me be your forever, Drizzle. Enjoy your reunion with Dewy, Dust Devil, and Derecho. I love you so much. ❤️🌧️🐀 by @friendlyratforecast

🌧️ Drizzle Update! 🌧️

I’ve gotten a couple of comments asking for an update on little miss Drizzle’s health issues, so I thought I’d give you guys a rundown on what’s been happening in the past month or so!

Thankfully, our girl is still thriving and living her best tax-evading life. Her tumors haven’t grown much, but I believe she’s experiencing some hearing loss and her hind-leg degeneration has slowly been getting worse. It’s also been a bit harder keeping her teeth from growing out of control as she’s been eating less solid foods. These changes have been slow, so I’ve been monitoring her closely and updating her medications as necessary.

On the bright side, I’ve honestly never seen a rat with so many health issues have such a zest for life. Drizzle swings herself around the playpen and cage like nobody’s business. She still spins for treats and plays with the other girls like she’s two years younger. She lets me cuddle her more than she used to, but she’s still the same sassy energetic Drizzle that she’s always been. It’s so heartwarming and I’ve been overjoyed to be able to care for her for so long. As long as she remains happy, I will continue to support her and provide her with the things she needs to keep as comfortable as possible!

We’d like to thank everyone who has donated to Drizzle’s medical fund. You all have made a stressful situation feel a whole lot more manageable, and for that we couldn’t thank you enough. Rattie kisses to you all! 💕🐀 by @friendlyratforecast

ratty box unboxing coming soon! is there any suggestions for types of videos you guys would like to see next? by @friendlyratforecast

do you guys remember my old girl Dust Devil and her baby Derecho? well, one of Derecho’s siblings recently celebrated her 3rd birthday! this is Opossum (formerly D5), and her human says she’s such a special lady, and is overjoyed that she made it to such an old age. seeing these pictures actually brought a tear to my eye, and i’m so thankful that all the babies got the best forever homes! Happy Birthday, Opossum! 💕🐀 by @friendlyratforecast

Due to some requests, we’ve decided to create another GoFundMe for those of you who want to contribute to Drizzle’s medical fund.

https://www.gofundme.com/help-drizzle

Of course, Drizzle will get all the help she needs regardless if anyone donates or not, so PLEASE do not feel obligated to send anything if you’re unable. This is just for those who were asking for a place to send us funds directly. Watching our videos and sending support in the comments already helps more than you can imagine ❤️

Drizzle is on multiple medications right now for her tumors and Hind Leg Degeneration. On top of that, she’s on a vet recommended special diet to keep her as healthy as possible in her old age. I am currently able to keep up with her medical expenses, but a little extra help would certainly take a lot of weight off my shoulders.

As always, thank you for your support and rattie kisses to you all 💕🐀 by @friendlyratforecast
