What a lovely evening at Archway Gallery! 🎨🐾

A huge thank you @archwaygallery , the participating artists, and everyone who came out to support Friends For Life today. We are so grateful to the artists who are donating 50% of their proceeds to help the animals in our care. 💜

And of course, Trinity had the BEST time. She made so many new friends, soaked up plenty of attention, and made sure everyone knew that three legs have never slowed down her social calendar.

Wallie and Garfield have figured out that life is better with a buddy. 🧡

These two orange boys love cuddling, playing, and keeping each other company. Wallie is the goofy, playful one who is always ready to turn anything into a game, while Garfield is a laid-back sweetheart who loves lap time and neck scritches. Together, they make a pretty adorable pair.

Both Wallie and Garfield are FeLV+, but that is only one small part of their story. Cats with FeLV can still live long, happy lives filled with toys, naps, cuddles, and plenty of love. They can live with other FeLV+ cats or be the only cat in the home.

They do not have to be adopted together, but watching them cuddle and play, we certainly would not complain if someone fell in love with both. 🥹

Ted is looking for someone who believes the best part of the day is coming home to a fluffy dog who cannot wait to be near you. 🥹

This sweet, affectionate boy is happiest by your side, whether you are heading out for a walk, tossing a toy around, or settling onto the couch for the evening. He has wonderful house manners, loves attention, and may gently remind you when he thinks you have stopped petting him too soon.

Ted can take a little time to warm up to new people, but once you are in his circle, you have a loyal little shadow. He may be able to live with another dog after proper introductions, but he is looking for a cat-free home.

Ted takes joint supplements, but he is still ready for daily walks, games of fetch, and plenty of cozy time with his future family.

Helo has a lot to say, and most of it sounds suspiciously like, “Please keep petting me.” 🧡

This handsome orange-and-white gentleman was once living as a stray before someone saw that he deserved the safety and comfort of an indoor home. Now, Helo is ready to find a family of his own.

He can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but patience is quickly rewarded. Once he feels comfortable, Helo becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who loves pets and will happily chat back while you give them.

His ideal day includes stretching out beside a sunny window, watching the world go by, playing with his kitty friends, and sharing a few conversations with his favorite person. He is easygoing, enjoys occasional playtime, and gets along with other cats with thoughtful introductions.

Helo is FIV+, but that does not stop him from enjoying a happy, loving life. Our team would be glad to answer questions about what that means for his care.

Archibald is ready to trade shelter life for soft blankets, sunny naps, and someone who appreciates a distinguished older gentleman. 🤍

He was originally found as a stray and later pulled from another shelter, but you would never know he once lived without a home. Archibald is incredibly friendly and loves gentle pets, happily leaning into your hand when he would like a little more attention.

He is older, calm, and generally pretty chill, but he still has a playful side that comes out from time to time. He recently had a dental, is feeling much better, and remains deeply committed to never missing a meal.

Bianca’s love story starts with a slow blink. 🐱

Then comes a cautious step closer. A gentle pet. Maybe another slow blink. Before long, this reserved tuxedo girl is showing you the sweet, affectionate cat who was hiding underneath all along.

Bianca first came to us as a kitten and was adopted with another kitten, but she returned to us a year later. Being back in a shelter can be a lot for a sensitive girl, and we think she may truly blossom once she feels safe and settled in a home again.

She is gentle, friendly, and happy to receive affection when she is comfortable. She also gets along well with other cats and may enjoy having a feline friend nearby. Quiet, respectful children could be a good fit, but Bianca is looking for a dog-free home.

A warm patch of sunlight falls across a fluffy blanket.

A sleepy cat lifts her head, stretches each paw as far as it will go, and slowly makes her way to the kitchen. Her dinner is waiting in the same familiar spot. There is no need to rush. No one else will take it. Tomorrow, there will be another meal waiting for her too.

Afterward, she climbs into her person’s lap, circles once, and settles in for the evening.

That is the life Cece deserves.

Cece was already 10 years old when she was found living as a stray. Now, at 12, some of that uncertainty is still with her. She eats as though the food might disappear because, for part of her life, she could never be sure when she would eat again.

A calm, consistent home could teach her that she is safe. Her bowl will always be filled. Her bed will always be warm. She will never have to wonder where she belongs again.

Cece deserves to spend her golden years taking long naps, watching the world from a sunny windowsill, chatting with her favorite person, and knowing that she is finally home.

We are looking for a foster or adoptive home for this affectionate senior lady. Fostering is also a wonderful way to get to know Cece while giving her the comfort and security she needs.

Hearne does not believe in strangers.

As far as he is concerned, every person is a potential best friend, every open hand is offering pets, and every empty spot beside you is clearly waiting for him.

Hearne is a happy, affectionate boy who loves walks, toys, backyard adventures, and being wherever his people are. He is smart, adaptable, crate trained, and an incredibly considerate housemate.

He can also get along with other dogs with thoughtful introductions. Mostly, though, Hearne is looking for a family who wants a loyal companion, a professional cuddler, and one very sweet shadow.
