I’m proud to officially launch Friends for a While.

This is a student-led nonprofit initiative dedicated to building meaningful relationships with lonely elderly adults through companionship, outreach, and community connection. We are currently a pending 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our mission is to reduce loneliness and create moments of genuine human connection for those who often feel forgotten.

Our official website, linked in the bio, includes our full story, ways to contact us, and the ability to connect and become a friend through the platform. The website works best on a computer for full access and ease of navigation.

Loneliness is invisible, but kindness isn’t.

This page will be used to share updates, volunteer opportunities, and future initiatives as we grow.

Every connection matters—this is just the beginning. 💙💜#nonprofit #lonelinessisinvisiblekindessisnt #friendsforawhile by @friends_for_a_while
