🌿 Help Build Friends Beyond Boston Friends Beyond Boston is growing, and we're looking for people who want to help shape what comes next. There are a few different ways to get involved: 🌱 Co-Leaders Help shape FBB alongside me and be part of building the community itself, not just helping with individual events. Co-leadership can include bringing people together through events, creating content, helping promote and grow the community, building relationships with other communities or local partners, and shaping ideas for where FBB goes next. You don't need to relate to all of that. The idea is shared leadership, bringing your own strengths, interests, and ideas to help build something meaningful together. 📍 Local Leaders Help bring FBB to new communities across Massachusetts and build a local FBB community in your own town, with the FBB foundation, resources, and support behind you. 🎉 Event Organizers Help build out our existing community in Waltham and surrounding towns within about an hour by regularly creating and organizing events around your own interests and ideas. The Co-Leader and Local Leader interest forms are available through our website. Interested in becoming an Event Organizer? 🌈 Café Meet & Mingle: Bi+ Community Edition 🏳️‍🌈 A warm, Bi+-centered space. We started this monthly Bi+ coffee social last year because Bi+ people need a space where our identities are understood without explanation, a space where we’re not erased or dismissed, but simply welcomed as we are. Whether you're bisexual, pan, fluid, queer-identified, unlabeled, questioning, or anywhere under the M-spec umbrella, this meetup is for you. All within the LGBTQIA+ community are welcome as long as they respect that this gathering is Bi+ centered. Expect casual conversation, connection, and a cozy space to meet others who get it. 🎃🍂 Our Annual Ultimate Mega Maze Day is officially on the calendar! 🌽 Our favorite fall road trip is coming back! We try to make this trip every fall, and it’s become one of our favorite seasonal traditions. 🍎🍩 We’ll meet inside the farm for lunch at the designated event time. That’s when we’ll start gathering at our table, so don’t worry if it takes a little while to get through the line and make your way inside, people will naturally trickle in as they arrive. Lunch is also the best time to find us and join the group, since we’ll all be together at the table before we head off to explore. After lunch, those who want to tackle the maze can head in together. 🌽 Not into the maze? No problem! You’re more than welcome to stay outside and enjoy everything else happening around the farm, live music, games, campfires, food, drinks, shopping, or just hanging out. And once we go into the maze, we’ll be “officially lost.” Even if you do go into the maze, there’s absolutely no pressure to finish it. Feel free to head back out whenever you’d like and enjoy the rest of what the farm has to offer.
