Friends Giving Back

Our mission is to nourish, equip, and inspire children in our community by meeting their basic needs, supporting their education, and creating memorable holiday experiences. Through direct aid and community partnership, we are dedicated to building a brighter future for every child.

Our core initiatives include:
Direct Family Support: We help meet the basic needs of children by providing food, clothing, and essential school and sports supplies. Our goal is to alleviate financial burdens on families, ensuring kids have the tools they need to succeed in and out of the classroom. Through partnerships with schools and community centers, we identify children facing hardship and determine their specific needs, including clothing and shoe sizes.

Empowering Educators:
Recognizing the daily challenges faced by educators, we collaborate with K-12 homeroom teachers. These teachers often serve many students with unaddressed needs, so we empower them by supplying classroom materials. This includes providing essential items like snacks, clothing basics, and backpacks pre-filled with school supplies directly to their classrooms. This support enables teachers to address immediate student needs and focus on their academic journey without worrying about budget constraints.

Holiday Programs: We host two major holiday programs to spread joy and support during the festive season:

- Thanksgiving Food Drive: We go beyond traditional food drives by taking individual families grocery shopping, ensuring they can select the food they need to prepare a special Thanksgiving meal.

- Christmas Toy Drive: We collect Christmas wish lists from children and connect them with generous donors who purchase and provide gifts. This program helps make holiday dreams come true for many children in our community.

It takes a village to run a great tournament, and @bubbastacos proved why they are a cornerstone of the Ontario community.

They generously provided meals for all the kids competing in @thomasgrahamjr4 and @humbled29 's 7-on-7 Tournament, serving up their amazing halal Mexican menu. High-quality sirloin steak, massive flavor, and even bigger hearts.

@tg4foundation and @friendsgivingback can’t thank you enough for investing in our youth and keeping the energy high all day long! Please go show them some love, Ontario!
