🏆Stage 21 @lavuelta

We did it! Don‘t have words yet, to describe what happened yesterday and the last weeks.

But what I know is that @primozroglic woke his 4th @lavuelta 🤙🏼 taken in Madrid, Spain by @friesoooooo

Back from my first-ever World Champs and just landed back in Barcelona.

What a sick race it was.

I’m not gonna lie, after shooting the same lap over and over again for a couple of days, it wasn’t the easiest. But I still enjoyed it so much. So happy with the whole week and still so many fotos which I like to share.

But first I need coffee ☕️ taken in Montreal, Canada by @friesoooooo

Women’s Elite Road Race of the World Champs done.

A race I was really looking forward to, and it delivered. It was beautiful and made me almost forget that I shot that exact circuit already for I don’t know how many laps in the last days . 😂

It was a good day out there and just makes me even more motivated for the men’s race tomorrow. 🤞 by @friesoooooo

Wow wow wow.

After so long, my first ever NHL (preseason) game. 🥹

I basically gave up playing hockey to pursue my passion and my career as photographer . And now my job brings me to a place where I can see an NHL game. It’s crazy.

I arrived a bit early and sat in some random pub in front of the stadium. I just started crying from happiness. I felt so blessed to be able to experience this.

We got the full program. Goals, fights and penalties. 🏒😂

Thanks @z_w_photography for coming with me. It was an evening I will never forget. 🥹🏒 taken in Centre Bell by @friesoooooo

Paul is one of the riders I met really early on. Seeing him develop over the last three years has just been really nice, so I was excited to shoot him racing the Worlds. He gave it his all, but sometimes it’s just not enough. But it was beautiful.and his day will come.

Another long and hard day done. Weekend is here and now the big dogs are entering the ring. Can’t wait.

Women’s Elite race tomorrow. Maybe the one I’ve been most excited about. 🤞 taken in Montreal, Quebec by @friesoooooo

That was a wild day of racing. Two races in one day. Starting with the U23 women and finishing with the U19 men.

They just race from the gun, full gas. It’s crazy.

It was a hard day for me. Long, and I just couldn’t find my riders. With all the different jerseys and faces I’m not used to shooting, it wasn’t the easiest. But it was also fun.

I’m excited for tomorrow’s U23 men’s race. 🤞 taken in Montreal, Quebec by @friesoooooo

First time I’ve been shooting a Mixed Team Relay. Not even sure if that’s the correct name. I loved it. Still extremely random that it’s not happening as part of the normal races, but I liked it. The idea is cool. It’s exciting.

With the two teams I had to focus on, Germany and Italy, I got the whole drama. One team became world champion, while the other had two moments of bad luck. They rode extremely strong but couldn’t manage to hold onto the medal.

So, emotions on both sides, but they couldn’t have been more different. taken in Montreal, Quebec by @friesoooooo

There was also a bike race happening next to the Remco show. It was beautiful. Good moments.

The days are passing fast, and there’s not a lot of time to prepare my own photos. So I’m a bit late.

Extremely long day with three races today, so I’m happy to be in my bed. taken in Montreal, Quebec by @friesoooooo

Just a normal TT Sunday. @remco.ev is warming up. He is riding extremely fast. He wins. He breaks the record. He is world champion. And he did it 4 times in a row.
