🎪 And just like that… the Big Top is down. We’re feeling a little happy-sad today as we say goodbye to the Big Top after an absolutely fabulous festival on the Frinton Greensward. What a couple of weeks it’s been! 🌊✨ 🪕The spectacular success of Half a Sixpence, with a brilliant company bringing the joy of the theatre to life with a flash, bang wallop. 📚 A wonderfully imaginative family event with Ross Montgomery. 🎷 An unforgettable night of funk and soul with Derek Nash & Noel McCalla. 📖 A packed Big Top welcoming bestselling author Jojo Moyes to Frinton. 👑 And one final, glorious night with Flash – The Ultimate Queen Tribute, sending the season out with the whole tent on its feet. From musical theatre and books to funk, family fun and full-on Queen, it’s been quite a way to end the summer. A huge thank you to every performer, musician, author, technician, volunteer, supporter and audience member who joined us beneath the canvas. What a summer we’ve had. 💙🎪 #FrintonSummerTheatre #FrintonOnSea #Frinton #EssexEvents #TheatreByTheSea taken in Frinton-on-Sea by @frintonsummer

📚 Thank you, Jojo! We were delighted to welcome Jojo Moyes back to Frinton yesterday for a very special Frinton Literary Festival afternoon in the Big Top. We loved listening to Jojo talk so warmly and candidly about her writing, her characters and the stories behind the stories – and answering so many brilliant questions. We all left wanting to be “a bit more Dolly” 💛 and with a lovely reminder that sometimes the most thoughtful gift you can give is a book. A huge thank you to Jojo for joining us, and to everyone who filled the Big Top and made it such a lovely afternoon. We loved having you all there. 📚❤️ #FrintonLiteraryFestival #JojoMoyes #FrintonSummerTheatre #FrintonOnSea #Frinton LiteraryFestival by @frintonsummer
