Fritzi Haußmann | Künstlerin der RPT 2026

Fritzi Haußmann entwickelt raumgreifende installative Arbeiten, Objekte und Videoarbeiten mit bewusst fließenden Übergängen. Im Zentrum steht das Verhältnis von Material, Raum und Bewegung. Aus vorwiegend entfunktionalisierten Materialien, wie Fahrrad- und Nutzfahrzeugschläuchen, die sie vernäht, kombiniert, verformt und lackiert, entwickelt sie ortsbezogene, dreidimensionale Raumzeichnungen. Themen wie Transformation, Mobilität und unseren Umgang mit Ressourcen, leitet sie sowohl aus den Materialien selbst, als auch aus architektonischen und soziokulturellen Bezügen, ab. Performance, Sound und interdisziplinäre Kollaborationen setzt Fritzi Haußmann situativ ein, um ihre Installationen zeitlich, körperlich oder atmosphärisch zu aktivieren.

🔸 Liliana González-Jarquin is a Montréal/ Tiohtià:ke–based artist. Through her ongoing project Micro-Nude, she examines accessible technologies, cyberfeminism, and the politics of social media images.

🔸 프리치 하우스만은 독일 프랑켄탈과 만하임을 기반으로 활동한다. 옛 비스바덴 대학에서 자유 그래픽을 중심으로 커뮤니케이션 디자인을, 만하임 자유예술아카데미에서 순수미술을 공부했다.

🔸 Fritzi Haußmann studied Communication Design with a focus on Independent Graphic Arts at the former Hochschule Wiesbaden and Fine Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mannheim.

🔸 타트야나 슈튀르머의 작업은 그래픽 디자인과 멀티미디어 설치 사이를 오간다. 구어와 문어, 시각 언어가 우리의 사회적·정치적 경험에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 탐구한다.

🔸 Tatjana Stürmer’s works oscillate between graphic design and multimedia installations. They examine how spoken, written and visual languages affect our social and political experiences.

🔸 리우웬치는 타오위안과 타이베이에서 작업하는 대만 기반의 작가이다. 개인적 삶의 경험을 바탕으로 자연과 인공 환경 사이의 변화하는 경계를 탐구하며, 인간이 자연 세계에 감정과 의미를 투사하는 방식에 주목한다.

Die Installation fading halo entstand im Kontext einer entweihten Kirche in Trier, deren ehemalige Kirchenfenster auf Grund der Zwischennutzung teils vollständig mit schwarzer Folie verhängt sind. Mit der Verdunkelung verlieren sie ihre ästhetische Wirkung, Tageslicht in farbiges Licht zu transformieren.
Ausgehend von den radikalen Eingriffen in die architektonischen Gegebenheiten der Kirche, arbeitet Haußmann mit gebrauchten, aus dem Nutzungskreislauf ausgeschiedenen Materialien. Wie der sakrale Raum selbst, tragen sie eine vergangene Funktion und Bestimmung in sich.

Fritzi Haußmann ( @fritzi.haussmann ) is the new rising star of the Rhineland-Palatinate art scene. She is currently presenting her latest work, “Fading Halo,” as part of the “Rheinlan-Pfalz-Trienniale” at St. Paul’s Church in Trier, which has been repurposed as an event location. “In situ,” on the spot the artist has created these sculptures hanging from the ceiling, made of bicycle inner tubes and once-walkable colorful water balls. The large-scale, translucent forms continuously change their volume and their relationship to one another through slow, barely perceptible inhalation and exhalation. The colored windows of the former church are now almost! completely covered with black foil. Yet light still filters through small holes at the edges; concentrated as if by a magnifying glass, it moves across the objects with the sun’s path, while light sources inside also produce colors of varying intensity through the transparent membranes. Black appears as an absorbing counterforce. In this way, the Fritzi Haußmann addresses in her work the strange “in-between” that prevails in the now repurposed house of worship.

Fritzi Haußmann arbeitet mit Materialien, die aus dem Kreislauf der Materialwirtschaft herausgefallen sind, zum Beispiel gebrauchte Fahrrad- und LKW-Schläuche, Planen oder ausgediente Sicherungsnetze. Ihre modularen, ortsspezifischen Installationen entstehen in situ und reagieren sensibel auf architektonische und gesellschaftliche Gegebenheiten.

Das tragbare Objekt aus vernähtem Schlauchmaterial fungiert als Erweiterung des Körpers und interagiert zwischen realer Bewegung und den Bewegungen, die in den Objekten der Installation angedeutet werden.

The wearable object made of sewn tubular material acts as an extension of the body, connecting real moments of movement with the tube objects that themselves appear to be in motion.
