A tribute to our beloved Dolly @striiike 🤍🕊️

Everyone it’s always asking for a blow dry tutorial for Fine curly hair. Here you go! The biggest mistake that I see people make is not sectioning the hair off and doing too much rough drying before putting tension on the hair. The minute your hair starts to dry it is getting set into that position so if it’s frizzy AF, then it’s going to want to revert back to being frizzy AF. Always use a lot of tension even when you’re getting the initial moisture out of the hair, use your fingers or literally grab a chunk and pull it down. When smoothing the ends, make sure that you are getting all of the moisture out of the hair. This will make your blowout last so much longer.

I love watching women style their own hair.

It tells me everything, what feels intuitive, what feels frustrating, and where the process goes sideways.

There’s a couple small mistake I see constantly that give less than desireable results… and cause unnecessary damage.

First things first: never blow-dry without the nozzle. Ever!
That attachment controls airflow, smooths the cuticle, and gives you precision instead of chaos. (Not to mention removes the danger of singeing your hair off!)

Second: direct the airflow from roots to ends. Always.

When air moves down, the cuticle lays flat. Baby hairs fall into place. Flyaways calm down. And suddenly you’re not reaching for a flat iron to “fix” what the blow-dryer just created.

Less time.
Less heat.
Less damage.
