Still on cloud nine after playing my first @nbcsnl show this weekend with @gracieabrams and her extremely welcoming and talented band mates @cooper.wav @rosieugly @muscletease @littlemonarchmusic 🥳 Her entire team was such a pleasure to work with on, off, and behind stage!

Big thanks to my partner in crime/strings @chiarafasi for showing me the ropes and being so easy and fun to play beside 🩷

Super grateful to have been able to bring some gorgeous string quarter arrangements by @douglaspeck (with the help of @nkassoy 🩶) to life at THE @yelyahwilliams show in Queens last week!

Even more grateful to have done it with @violawithkayla, @chiarafasi, and @shes.alexvndria 🫶🏽

There was such a kind openness emanating from the stacked band to the efficient crew. Just a solid 10/10 wholesome performance experience ☺️

The day we legalized and celebrated what already was; an unexpectedly wonderful, uniquely unconditional, spontaneously joyful, special kind of love 🩷

It was everything we wanted; simple, meaningful, warm, and fun 🌞 Such a lovely way to join families, eat yummy food, and look fabulous doing it in the lush Kentucky summertime 💅🏽💙 No notes.

Little Angelique's dream has come true...AGAIN! Life can be so cool 🥰
This is definitely the longest thing I will ever post on social media of me just talking, so don't get used to it lolz
But I just HAD to share me unboxing my new favorite possession AND fill y'all in on this very specific lore about me 😅
Welcome Barbie 2.0 to my 31st (technically 32nd) year of life! I hope you'll be around for as long as I'm playing the cello 😭

@basuramusical + @alliancetheatre + the city of Atlanta = owes me NOTHING! My time with everyone that has been a part of this special show has been nothing short of life altering; 2 months that I will carry like a time capsule in my heart forever 🫶🏾

1-4: thank you to the family and friends who traveled near and far to support me by coming to see the show 💖
5-8: thank you Atlanta for being so welcoming and fun; it was so nice feeling closer to home 🍑🇭🇹⚜️
9-10: gonna miss the amazing facility that is the Alliance Theatre (and all the staff/crew)! Truly such a beautiful place to come to work.
11-14: goodbyes are always hard, especially when it's to incredible colleagues + role models 😭 but it's a bit easier when it's more of a hopeful "see you later" 🩷
15: wanted to share this because it's a perfect representation of how lucky I have been to work with the most supportive group of people. Some of you know, I escaped for a weekend to get married (nbd 💀), and my Basura family sent me off with this sweet surprise 🧁🎉🥰

Of course, this post doesn't capture every single person and moment that positively impacted me during my time in Atlanta; but I will carry the memories with me forever.

Opening night for @basuramusical at the @alliancetheatre came and went and I will never get over it 😭 Feeling so incredibly lucky and grateful to have been welcomed into the Basura familia just a few weeks before this celebratory moment. The warmth I have experienced since joining is unmatched; from the cast, crew, creative team and of course the incredible band 🫶🏾 Imposter syndrome is such a common thing to experience in the arts world; but I can honestly say I have felt a deep sense of belonging with this team from day one 🥰

Thank you to @davidwlai and @alacamoire for trusting me to join this beautiful show, the gratitude runs deeper than you know. And to the Basura band, I can't even find the words so...💖🔥🎉😘🥳🥨💅🏾🤗🥰🙌🏾👑🥹

So excited for the next month of performances here in Atlanta! If you're in the area between now and July 12th, please come and see this show; you will not regret it! by @frocellogirl

The older I get, the harder it is to write captions bc I always end up feeling the same in special moments: gratitude.

Feeling so very lucky that I get to make art as a job ☺️ Getting to perform Sondheim 's "Putting it Together" with Broadway legends and talented musicians in the final days of @colbertlateshow?!? Classic pinch me moment.
