It's a Bakechef sort of day today as it's not very warm out. I may even attempt to cook dinner on/in it later.

My slow cooker - a wedding present in 1983 - is nearly 43 years old and still going strong, although I no longer leave it switched on if I'm not at home. #madetolast #slowcooker #slowcookedlamb by @frockery

Couldn't resist this beauty from Angus Clearance Centre in Brechin: Ercol grand refectory table with 8 Goldsmith chairs.
We had a panic when the batten screws were missing on delivery, but they have been located and all is well!
But not before I learned more than I ever needed to about 5/16" countersunk Pozi-drive steel wood screws, and how hard and expensive replacements are to source. 😂

My not-so-wee brother plays the blues in Arbroath, aided and abetted by an old school pal on bass.
