As we wrap up and move on to the second lookbook we’ve shot together, I wanted to take a moment to note one of the biggest improvements to our shoots. Shooting with the ColorChecker Passport has brought sharpness, consistency, and ease to coloring my photos. Over my last three major shoots, I’ve had the chance to really play with this tool in diverse settings. One of my photography mentors told me I should be using one if I really wanted to elevate my professionalism, and I can finally see why. I wish I had started sooner. Long gone are the days of spending most of my editing process estimating my ideal white balance. I simply use my ColorChecker Passport and keep it pushin’. Reflecting on every shoot we’ve done with ShadowCorp over the past year, I think this might be the most impactful change to our process to date. @shadowcorp.la @jalesajemm by @frofi

Thoughts on slide 3 Simply put, Naud has a strong, elongated stance and a masculine posture while serving as an anchor to Jalesa. Jalesa did a great job of elongating her body while keeping her shoulders back and her head elevated toward the ceiling. The overall effect was achieved: strong and masculine figures anchoring an elegant and feminine one. Attention is directed to Jalesa's face but flows through to Naud, showcasing the back of the sleeveless hoodie. Slightly less emphasis is placed on the ribbed cotton jersey in this frame, but it's perfect for the effect we were going for. There was a nice interplay of shadows to play with, which is very on brand for Shadowcorp. @jalesajemm @supernaud by @frofi

It’s always a pleasure bringing creative ideas to life. This day in particular was also the night of the NBA finals. Our studio overlooked Madison Square Garden where Knicks fans were gathering before they started watching the game. The Knicks later winning game 5 made fore a magical night in NYC. When I look back on this day, I am filled with gratitude being able to work with professionals at the top of their craft.
