I moved around a lot growing up. I remember the first time I did and I had to leave the closest thing I’ve known to a childhood home, being on that plane looking out as I left everything and almost everyone I’ve known behind and not knowing what was going to happen next and just feeling completely alone.

Later on in my life I entered college and I was meeting a lot of different people and making friends and great connections and then after the school year ended during the summer I was back at home and I had felt really alone again. I felt empty, I ended up reading the Bible on my own that summer for the first time and when I did, for some reason I didn’t feel alone. I felt God’s presence. It felt like he took my brain and completely reshaped it in how I viewed things. I learned that God loves me and wants a relationship with me, but because of sin, which is just my wrong thoughts and actions, that separate me from God I couldn’t have a perfect relationship with God and so God knew this and sent Jesus to die for my sins and for your sins so that we can have a relationship with Him and all I had to do was accept it. And when I did I felt like my life had finally started because I had never felt so free before.

Now in my life I still struggle with feeling alone. I’ve realized that relationships are going to come and go whether I want them to or not but the relationship I have with Christ never leaves and I’m able to take comfort in that through the good and bad times in my life. taken in Panama City Beach, Florida by @frogga_man
