One of my favourite moments from the day.Dinner was coming to an end when our electric violinist made her entrance through the room.Within seconds, the atmosphere completely changed. Guests looked up, phones disappeared, conversations stopped and suddenly everyone was present again.This wasn’t just entertainment. I don’t think a reel will ever do this tablescape justice. 🥹🌿🕯️I genuinely stopped in my tracks when I walked into the gardens & saw @frogprinceweddings set up the most incredible alfresco wedding table sat beneath the trees, with olive greens, soft mauves, the dreamiest fresh florals running the entire length of the table, candlelight, lamps, gold cutlery, beautiful charger plates… and the sweetest hand-drawn illustrations waiting for every guest at their seat by @isa_the_doodle_fairy .✨It felt so intimate. So considered. Every single detail had a purpose, and everywhere you looked there was something new to take in.This is what I love most about weddings. Leandra & Andrew in Luttrellstown Castle and it was something out of a fairytale. I see a lot of love between my couples, but these two? It was so special. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other all day, they were so tactile and loving with each other. You could even see them get lost in each others eyes throughout the portrait session, being so present with each other. It was honestly breathtaking. From the most beautiful ceremony with florals and design by @frogprinceweddings who really brought the vision to life, to the amazing long tables at dinner, transforming the dining room in @luttrellstowncastleresort into something I’ve never seen before, to sparklers and fireworks by @emeraldfireworks to celebrate the 4th of July with all their guests who flew over from the states to celebrate with them. I’ll hold this wedding in my heart for years to come. Thank you @ltrydal & @bigandysmith for the love and the trust. I can safely say I am obsessed with you both. After just three dates for Emily & Jacques, the world shut down from a global pandemic and they spent the next year getting to know each other through nightly FaceTime calls, living hundreds of miles apart. This summer, surrounded by 140 of their favourite people, they finally celebrated their marriage in the beautiful surrounds of @tankardstownhouse. It was everything they hoped for, bright, timeless, full of laughter and the dance floor just as important as the portraits!One of my favourite lines after delivering their gallery was “You brought such a calm presence to our day and it felt like having another friend there celebrating with us”.
