Taste of The Barnyard | Carne Asada Omelette 🍽️

Saturday brunch at From Scratch Restaurant in The Barnyard.

I went with the Carne Asada Omelette Special, loaded with carne asada and avocado, with seasoned red potatoes and whole wheat toast on the side.

Add a hot cup of coffee, fresh orange juice and ice water, and that’s a pretty solid way to spend a sunny Saturday morning in Carmel.

And if you like the From Scratch coffee mug, you don’t have to leave it behind. They’re available for purchase at the restaurant.

With the coffee flowing and a great breakfast, there’s no need to rush anywhere.

What an amazing girls’ day brunch in Carmel with Mishalia and Karissa at @from_scratch_restaurant !

And let me tell you, it truly lives up to its name – everything was literally from scratch and absolutely delicious!

We were so fortunate to enjoy such a cute day out. If you’re ever in Carmel, you have to check out this popular, family-owned breakfast and lunch spot.

They’re located at 3626 The Barnyard (Building C), open daily from 8 AM to 2 PM (closed Wednesdays).

Their breakfast is served all day, and lunch starts at 11 AM.

I heard their award-winning Huevos Rancheros, Eggs Benedict, and handmade biscuits and gravy are incredible, plus their sweet-and-spicy brisket chili was even featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives! No reservations, just walk in and enjoy the goodness.
