SAVE THIS for your Croatia trip 🇭🇷 because I’m breaking down the 7 places I’d put on a Croatia itinerary after coming home from the best trip of my life.

No. 1: Korčula, Croatia.

If you’re wondering what to do in Korčula, put these three things on your list:

🏎️ Book the Korčula Buggy tour. This was SUCH a fun way to actually see the island instead of only exploring the Old Town. You’ll ride through the countryside, along the coast and past vineyards before ending with local food, homemade specialties and Croatian wine with the family. @korculabuggyofficial

🍷 Eat and drink your way through Korčula Town. Don’t over-plan this part. Wander, find a restaurant that looks good, sit outside and order the local wine. Look for Grk and Pošip, two of the wines Korčula is known for.

⚔️ See the Moreška sword dance. This is not one I would skip. The performance dates back centuries and involves an actual mock battle with swords. Get tickets ahead of time, go to the 9 PM performance, and know that the front rows put you VERY close to the action. 😂

Korčula gave me adventure + beautiful water + wine + history + one of those perfect European evenings where wandering around town IS the itinerary.

Basically: exactly what I want from Croatia.

Recs for a Quick Trip to Banff, Canada 🇨🇦

Day 1: Calgary to Banff

Land, grab lunch at Brix and Barrel (mango sushi roll and the dumplings, trust me), pick up the rental car and drive. The drive itself is the first attraction — nobody warns you about that.

Go straight to the Banff Upper Hot Springs. Soak until you’re useless. Then drive the Banff Springs Golf Course loop around sundown and look for elk in the sand traps. You don’t play, you don’t pay, you just drive and stare. Dinner outside on Banff Avenue, which looks like a Hallmark movie set and knows it.

Day 2: Moraine Lake

Private cars are not allowed. You need a prebooked shuttle, full stop.

We did most of Sentinel Pass and then decided we were more committed to snacks than to the summit. Zero regrets.

Then rent the canoe. $170. Do it anyway. The lake from the water is a completely different lake, and if you take one thing from this whole video, let it be this one. Get. The. Canoe. 🛶

Day 3: Lake Louise, then up the mountain! 🏔️

Go early. It gets packed. Afternoon tea at the Fairmont is worth a reservation, but lunch at Louiza was our favorite — mountain and garden views and genuinely good specialty cocktails.

Then back to Banff for the Gondola and 360 views from the top. Dinner at Sky Bistro. Reserve it.

Book ahead: Moraine shuttle, canoe, afternoon tea, Sky Bistro. All four sell out.

Optional: skip tea, do lunch. Skip Sentinel, do a longer Moraine trail. Plenty of hard hikes if that’s your thing.

Save this for your Canada trip.

Truly a little taste of Monaco in between our Italy honeymoon and good friends’ French Rivera wedding in Nice 🫶🏼

Though it was a quick trip, we loved it! We stayed at the lovely @hoteldefrance_mc and had the most delightful white wine before heading out to explore.

Took a stroll along Port Hercules to admire the boats and daydream about the one we want 🤭

Then ended up at dinner with lovely live music at @le_quai_des_artistes_mc where I definitely recommend the escargot and octopus salad - truly the best one I’ve ever had! 🐌🐙

Next we saw the @casinosmontecarlo and had a rooftop drink at @amu.montecarlo at the @fairmontmonaco where we literally walked along the Fairmont hairpin turn famous as the slowest, tightest, and most famous corner on the @f1 circuit 🏎️
