We’ve learned to check on new moms after childbirth. But who’s checking on new dads? ❤️

The birth of a baby changes a woman’s life, but it changes a man’s life too.

While a new mom is recovering from childbirth, a new dad might be running around the hospital managing paperwork, arranging medicines, answering endless family calls, and trying to figure out how to care for his wife and newborn.

He may not experience childbirth, and his journey will never be the same as a mother’s. But that doesn’t mean becoming a father for the first time is easy.

New dads can feel exhausted, overwhelmed, scared, and unsure of what they’re doing, too.

We don’t need to compare a mother’s journey with a father’s. We just need to make room for both.

So, the next time you meet a new dad, don’t just ask about the baby. Ask him, “How are YOU doing?”

And if you’re a new dad reading this, you’re allowed to be figuring it out, too. You don’t have to get everything right the first time. ❤️

These words have triggered me even before I became a mom, but now its trigger level*100👇

1. Pehla ladka ho jata to... - Beti koi compromise nahi, she is my blessing. Beta hota to b utna hi pyara hota kyuki jo b h BS MERA HAI, or itna mere liye kafi hai.
2. Doosra kab? - Pandit ji jab ka muhurat nikal de 😆
3. Natural delivery? - Baby bahar aa gaya, itna kaafi nahi hai kya? What’s unnatural delivery, pls explain?? Husbands giving birth??
4. Hamare time pe.. - Aapke time pe google or ChatGPT bhi nahi tha aunty. Aapko pta hi nahi tha kya galat h kya sahi, aap bs kar rahe the kyuki sab kar rahe the.
5. Just a mom - Just? Main bina chhutti ke 24 ghante kaam karti hu. Being a mom is my biggest blessing, I know how hard it is for some to even conceive and my heart aches to see women going through such difficult phases.
6. Arre usko dekho - Every child is unique and so is the way to handle them, compare karna band karo. Har bacche ko paalne ka tarika alg hota h, golgappe sab khilate hain pr tumko un bhaiya k haathon se hi swad aata hai na?
7. Ghar pr hi to ho - Ghar pe rehna aaram nahi, sabse mushkil duty hai.
8. Screen dikhati ho? - 2 minute rhymes dikha ke garam roti kha li toh kaunsa gunah kar diya?
9. Baccha to maa ki zimmedari hota hai - Papa helper nahi, maa-baap dono barabar hote hai.

POV: I’m a mom to an 8 month old but still can’t fix this cooker ka dhakkan 😭

Kya maa banegi re tu, tujhse to cooker ka dhakkan bhi nahi lagta - and they were right, I still struggle 😂

Motherhood taught me everything - how to handle sleepless nights, colic, purees... but this pressure cooker lid? Still my biggest enemy.

This iPhone hack saved me while travelling with baby - no mic, still clear voice!

If you are a mom creator who wants to record handsfree content while managing baby, try this:

1. Open Camera > Video mode
2. Swipe down Control Center > Tap Mic Mode > Turn on VOICE ISOLATION
3. Open Settings > Camera > Record Sound > select “Mono”

You can also plug your wired EarPods and keep phone in pocket - it works as a mic and your hands are free for baby.

I wish I knew this before I bought a Rs.3000 mic. This free iPhone setting is enough for UGC, talking reels, travel vlogs.

Save this before your next trip - you will need it.

No home food on vacation? This one dabba solved it for my 8 month old 👇

I carried raw khichdi mix + snacks in this 3 layer portable container and it was the best decision for travel with baby.

Come spend an evening with me - 8 months old baby evening routine in park 👶🏽🌙

Hi, i am 8 months old. Today mumma took me for an evening walk to the park.

First i sat on the park bench and observed everyone, then mumma picked me up in my baby carrier. i love being in the baby carrier and watching the world from there.

We saw park lights, evening sky, people playing cricket, kids running - so much sensory stimulation for babies without any toys.

This is my favourite outdoor activity for babies - just an evening walk in the park. It helps 8 month old babies with brain development, better sleep, and sensory development. Best screen free evening routine for babies.

Mumma says daily park time is the easiest baby activity for better sleep at night and it really works, I slept so well after.

No toys, no setup, just 30 minutes of fresh air. Best free activity for 8-12 month old babies.

I stopped stopping my 8 month old baby from making a mess and her development changed

If your 8 month old baby throws food, spills water, empties dabbas - this is NOT bad behavior.

This is messy play, sensory play and independent play for 8 month old babies.

At 8 months, babies learn cause and effect, fine motor skills, hand eye coordination through mess. Katori girana, dal phekna, pani girana = brain development.

What worked for me:
1. One big tray for all messy eating and sensory activities
2. One old bedsheet under high chair for easy cleanup
3. Giving only 2 spoons at a time instead of full bowl

This 8 month old baby activity needs no expensive Montessori toys, only ghar ke toys. Messy play ideas at home for Indian moms.

Try this for 3 days and you will see less frustration, more independent play.
