The inspiration and the finished piece 🪻

I've been using purple a lot recently, so maybe it's time to give my other inks some more attention. Swipe to see a tiny bit of the process 😊

Last post of this painting, I promise 💐

I've been working on some writing and other projects recently so I haven't had much to post, but I now have one of these paintings available on my folksy 😊

I've gathered a lot of conkers recently, so I tried my hand at drawing them 🍁

I love this page, it feels so autumnal! And now only two more pages to go ☹️

Another page of sketches!

And now I only have three pages left ☹️ still, I'm excited to have a flip back through this sketchbook once it's finished and then start a new one!

The inks are back!

It's the first more detailed piece I've done in a while, and I'm quite happy with it 😊 I can't help but keep thinking it's a bit plain, though? Maybe I've just been staring at it for too long...

With Autumn slowly creeping in, I've been drawn to sketching more leaves 🍁

I used to feel a little intimidated by them, for some reason, so these studies made for a nice change!

So many plants and flowers 💐

I'm thinking of using these as a starting point for designing some cute, mini cards? So, let me know if there are any that stand out to you 😊💛

Drawings from the garden 🪴

Unfortunately, a lot of plants haven't survived the multiple heatwaves very well and are looking a little crispy ☹️ but the tomatoes and sweet pea are trying to make a comeback after the rain, so hopefully things will be green for a little longer 😊

Pictures of pastels 😊

Sorry if you saw a different version of this already, I wasn't too keen on those photos 😅

A page from my sketchbook plus the eclipse hidden by clouds ☁️

We did actually get to see a decent amount of the eclipse, but we did miss its peak. Still, I'm glad to have seen some of it 😊 it was a pretty cool experience!

Spring gentian in gouache 🪻

This is actually my first fully gouache painting 😊 it was a dream to work with! This one was a gift, so I didn't manage to get as many photos as I would have liked, but these will have to do 💜
