Sometimes the things we think aren’t for us turn out to be exactly what we wanted.

I’ve been a stay at home mom for 15 years and I’ve tried so many different thing over the years but nothing has stuck. So I think I finally want to figure out what I like and what I’m actually good at. Bonus if I can make money doing it too! I have 6 hours free Mon–Fri, so seems like the perfect time to try some new stuff. by @fromherelately

I know I’m not the only one feeling this way. I’ve had a few conversations about it recently.

I want to see real people and real life. The little things and the big things. A whole human, not just the one dimensional version social media tries to make us. Found what you can offer everyone? Niche down, niche down, niche down.

Sometimes I think about how ridiculous these social media versions of people would be in real life. Can you imagine meeting someone and they only ever talked to you about one subject?

I’m not saying people shouldn’t keep things private or that they need to show everything. I just think you should feel allowed to share whatever you want. Whatever you notice.

The cute sleeping dog, the yummy burger, the good book, the pretty sunset.

Even if they’re not offering anything to anyone. by @fromherelately

Like I said, fall is for soccer. So much soccer. And food. And animals too. Luckily, we’ve had pretty amazing weather this soccer season. Only a couple rainy games so far! by @fromherelately

A few good things lately.
— Kevin, the peacock that just showed up at my kids’ school one day.
— Try not to eat the whole bag in one sitting.
— This stain remover has worked on everything I’ve tried. Might take a little scrubbing but it always comes out.
— I know I shared this on my stories last week but it’s just that good and actually brushes out after.
— Instantly transported to sophomore year, listening to music and getting ready with my best friend before school. by @fromherelately

That reel really bothered me. I’m always telling my kids (and myself) that we don’t have to be perfect, we just have to keep showing up. We should be striving to grow every day. That’s just a part of life.

It doesn’t mean we’re not good enough currently, it means that we want to see what we’re capable of.

And sometimes that means showing up for 43 minutes of a 50 minute workout class. That woman didn’t decide she didn’t have enough time, she made it work with the time she had. by @fromherelately

Our youngest just turned 10 so we had her birthday party this weekend. I saw this party idea from @woolandwillow and thought it was so cute and luckily she did too!

The girls spent half her party making keychains/bag tags for their backpacks and had so much fun doing it. They came up with the cutest color combos too! Perfect timing being back to school.

If you’re looking for a really cute but really simple party idea that will be a hit with tween girls I think this is it! by @fromherelately

Last night she was zooming around the house like a madwoman and almost tore her nail completely off. You’ll be happy to know she wasn’t jumping off of anything. But I had to wait until today to take her in since everything was already closed for the night. Such lovely timing for a $400 urgent care bill right after a birthday 😒.

Also, every vet should have those calming bandanas. I’ve never seen them before and couldn’t believe how well it worked for her! by @fromherelately
