Kiara brings so much creativity and heart to our little corner of the art community, and we love getting to see her work out in the world. (Seriously, have you seen her illustrations?! 😭💚)

Fun fact: she was named after Kiara from The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, feels like a fun little piece of lore everyone should know.

Meet Kiara Lime (@juliettelime_) an artist whose style is as unique as her story! Described as “an anime fan who doesn’t even watch anime,” Kiara’s playful, vibrant work is instantly recognizable. She starts with a simple sketch on paper, then brings it to life digitally, blending real-world colors from markers, ink, and paint to create the fun stickers and designs we all love.

Kiara draws inspiration from everywhere: Shoujo Manga, her friends and family, and her own lived experiences. Her hope? That her art helps you connect with your values and express your truest self.

We’re so grateful to have Kiara as both an artist and a member of the Terrain team. Her journey with us began a decade ago as a volunteer at our flagship show, and now she’s helping shape the creative community she once admired from afar. As Kiara says, “Getting to be both a From Here artist and staffer has been really special to me… seeing Terrain grow and make space for chronically-online, fandom-obsessed Internet artists like myself has been heartwarming.”

NEW TERRAIN X DROP. 👀

Featuring stickers, apparel and accessories designed by local artists, Gabriel Lee Green (@crygabey), Genevieve Curry (@gcurryart), Hanncel Sanchez (@hanncelstudio), Katie Muirhead (@katieandkinceramics), Susan Webber (@destroysusan), Sarah Windisch (@slwindisch), and Kiara Lime (@juliettelime_)

Through the end of the year, 50% of the proceeds will be shared with Manzanita House (@mhspokane) and Spectrum Center Spokane (@spectrumcenterspokane) in support of our immigrant and 2SLGBTQIA+ neighbors.

It’s mutual aid, but with a Terrain twist.

Plus, now through September 30th, 100% of the proceeds from our SPO Pocket Tee, designed by Eric Sanchez(@eric.sanchez.art), will go to the City of Spokane’s H.O.M.E. Starts Here Fund and Beautiful Skys/River Warrior Society to support Spokane and Colville Tribal members who’ve also lost their homes or been displaced due to the fires.
