This one post is a special dedication to my friend @merseaofbooks for she never gave up on me! <3

And now, moving on to the #tenbeforetheend challenge,
my “The 10” books are as followed

1. Blueberries by Ellena Savage

2. Bunny by Mona Awad

3. Just Kids by Patti Smith

4. The Very Easy Death by Simone De Beauvoir

5. The Houseguest by Amparo Davila

6. Territory of Light by Yuka Tshuhima

7. I who have never known Men by Jacquline Harpman

8. Beyond The Pleasure Principle by Sigmund

9. Lying Life of Adults by Elena Ferrante

10. Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Su Lynn Tan

Counting the days for the end of 2022, it seems little heavy to accomplish all these readings, for I curated this reading list even before the start of 2022, so will definitely try to read before the end of me and not just 2022!

To my longer life span (for reading)!

Caption that made me win giveaway organised by @zubaanbooks for celebrating Women in Translation Month.

This year to submit myself as a reader for celebrating WIT, I focused on diversified culture of women through their writings around the world, hence I picked up multiple yet short and coherent books.

I started my reading by picking up The Days of Abandonment by Elena Ferrante, original published as an Italian novel. This remains one of my most personally and emotionally engaging read for 2022, as it highlights the pure reality of woman’s affliction by the act of an abandonment.

And then I picked up Panty by Sangita Bandyopadhyay, where I read some of the most sensual women perspective.

Next I had, Almonds by Won Pyung Sohn, translated from Korean - and it gave me a sense of understanding humanity through the softest touch of children and their mental struggles.

And then I re-read a short story collection of Ishmat Chugtai, for it provides me with the touch of India’s most beautiful language - Urdu.

And I then picked up Pig Tales by Marie Darrieussecq, which follows a amusing polt of how a male gaze coverts a woman into a pig and more of a beautiful and powerful blend of feminism in Women in Translation.

And finally, my last book for celebrating WIT, arrived on 30th of August 2022, hence I am currently reading it, which is the classic work by one of the most renown feminist writer Simone de Beauvoir - The Inseparables- (translated from French). I personally picked this up to get a perspective regarding a bond of friendship by a feminist and a woman writer.

So, in my conclusion, yet again books have made me connect to the corners around world by the creative submission of writing as an art.

And this time I got to taste the art of Italian, French, Indian (Urdu and Bangla) and Korean writings. by @frommylibrary__

Hi, Readers!

I’ve been really very inactive for past “more-than couple” of weeks, for this one last semester I wanted to give my best in improving my academic performance, which was tremendously shattered in third semester due to personal issues, I might sound nerdy, but no cap, I’d rather choose good grades over bad cries!

And the good thing is, I had a strict boundary of not mingling emotions and studies, but I’ve learned it other way around now - it’s better to pour out every pinch of emotions in every part of your life. It teaches. It redirects. Profoundly!

And, guess what?!
All my grades are up and uploaded, and I’ve pretty much improved in most of them! Yes the cumulative are in As! ( Patting my back )

I think a little bit of shuffling and juggling are what makes the chapters of life more enduring!

Also, I’ve noticed that how I got tagged in many interesting book tags, which I wish to attend as soon as I can! Thank you and apologies for not responding! 🤍✨🦢

By the way, the picture shared is of the few among many other books that I covered in my final semester! taken in Delhi, India by @frommylibrary__
