MELIMALÓN is becoming something that keeps coming back. @melimelo.restaurante By @fromsospace @maxpax__ @rox.pox_ @alexprexx @susanaschnell And everything that returns eventually leaves a mark. This time, we gather around a simple gesture: looking. Looking at each other. Looking within ourselves. In front of a mirror crossed by red threads that fall like tears, invisible connections emerge, unexpected encounters, and the bonds that continue weaving our stories together. Perhaps, in that reflection, we can recognize something that has always been there. A night of live music, theater, tarot, flash tattoos, micropoetry, and experiences that return in different ways. Moments that repeat themselves. People who come back because someone told them about a reading, a conversation, a song, or a feeling they found here. Maybe life works that way too. We listen to stories. We follow intuitions. We return to places that left a mark on us. We reconnect with people and situations we thought we knew, only to discover something completely different in them. That is MELIMALÓN. An experience shared from person to person. SOS [ Hospitality, Culture & Experience ] In just a few years, SOS has moved through different ideas. From The Beauty of Going Against to A Future Archive of Images, each chapter reflected a particular observation about culture, creativity and the role of brands in contemporary life. Today, that observation evolves once again. For a long time, our attention was focused on images. We believed images were among the most influential cultural forces of our time. Not because of how they looked, but because of what they made possible. That belief remains unchanged. What has changed is the scale of the question. The most relevant brands today are no longer defined solely by what they communicate. They are defined by the environments they create around themselves. The communities they gather. The conversations they host. The experiences they enable. Increasingly, culture is not happening around brands. It is happening through them. This is why hospitality has become central to our thinking. Not hospitality as an industry, but as a cultural framework. A way of understanding how people connect to places, ideas, objects and one another. Looking back, much of our work was already moving in this direction. Through restaurants, spaces, publications, creative platforms, brand systems and experiences, we have always been interested in creating the conditions for culture to happen. Today, we choose to Hospitality, Culture & Experience. In the coming months, we will launch new projects, expand our practice and open our first residency space in Santiago de Chile: a place dedicated to design, publishing, research, creativity and cultural exchange. A place to welcome students from leading universities, founders, creatives and collaborators. A place to share what is being built from this side of the Andes and connect it to a broader cultural conversation. Right now, the most interesting conversations around design are happening at Portafolio Moda. @portafolio_cl bu @ignaditt Not only because of the collections on display, but because it brings together the entire ecosystem behind them. Designers, makers, materials, processes and ideas converge in one place, making visible everything that happens before a piece reaches the runway. For this edition, we developed a spatial concept inspired by Japanese architecture, proposing a quieter way of experiencing design. One where precision, emptiness and materiality become part of the narrative. PORTAFOLIO MODA Historias de moda. Toda idea busca una forma. Las imágenes comienzan a transformarse en decisiones. Los papeles se superponen sobre la mesa. Los moldes encuentran proporciones. Las telas responden de maneras inesperadas. Cada prueba abre una nueva posibilidad. La creatividad descubre su estructura. Portafolio Moda nace precisamente en ese cruce: el lugar donde la intuición dialoga con el oficio, donde la técnica amplía la imaginación y donde la tecnología expande las posibilidades del hacer. Patronaje, confección, materiales, innovación, desarrollo textil, fabricación, dirección creativa, comunicación y negocio forman parte de un mismo recorrido. Cada disciplina aporta una mirada distinta, pero todas persiguen el mismo propósito: convertir una idea en una prenda, una colección y, finalmente, en una cultura. Porque la moda se construye pieza por pieza. Se mide, se corrige, se corta, se cose y se vuelve a imaginar. Cada proceso deja una huella. Cada decisión revela una forma de pensar. Process. We edited, designed, refined, and created the entire world of printed collateral for Secret Orders, a contemporary tarot deck conceived by our Creative Director. Every piece was developed as an extension of its symbolic universe, where graphic design, materiality, and narrative become part of the ritual itself. @saragubbins__ @franki.rar by @fromsospace
