These experiences have nurtured her curiosity and shaped her sensitive approach to design.⁠ ⁠ With a particular sensitivity to print and materiality, she enjoys exploring through research and experimentation. THE FRONTLINE TEAM ⁠ ⁠ Masha Kontchakova, Creative Director & Founder. ⁠ ⁠ Born in Russia, Masha Kontchakova moved to France during the Perestroika era to pursue a career in theatre and dance, before turning her hand to journalism and documentary filmmaking.⁠ This diverse background has enriched her perspective with a wealth of varied experiences, shaping an approach to communication where narrative, imagery and creativity come together to form unique visual concepts. ⁠ After heading up communications at Vitra France and then La Cornue, she founded Frontline Studio, where she serves as Artistic Director.⁠ ⁠ Masha has experience in all stages of communication, from marketing and tool creation to media and public relations. He is drawn to brands and projects that carry a cultural heritage or a craft, houses where a history and the people behind it deserve to be translated into images. ⁠ ⁠ His approach combines creative rigour with a curiosity for references of all kinds, from typography and art history to cinema and music. MENU DESIGN FOR ORIENT EXPRESS SAILING YACHTS⁠ ⁠ Frontline Studio designed the visual identity for the Cigar Menu aboard the Orient Express Corinthian.⁠ ⁠ Designed as a small table object for the cigar lounge, this menu echoes Le Speakeasy bar menu through the same colour palette and refined interplay of blind embossing and gold foil.
