Getting up early hurt more than the tumor! 🤣😂🤦🏻‍♂️ Turned out to be a short walk from the hotel to the outpatient surgery center, so I just walked it. 7 min walk versus waiting 20 minutes for a driver to take me 900 feet. 🤦🏻‍♂️🙄 I’m not sure how long before I have to lock up my stuff, but I’ll keep posting as long as I can. 🥹 Am nervous. 🥺

I’m all over the holiday decorating map. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Swapped out Halloween and Thanksgiving for the balcony and front door. Two neighbors saw me setting up the Thanksgiving front door, and were super nice about how much they liked the Halloween, and now the Thanksgiving. The bar is high for Christmas!
Speaking of…inside the apartment, I brought up the Christmas stuff, and am setting up tonight. Surgery is very soon, and I’m expecting to be knocked on my ass for a couple of weeks, so better to do it now. 🤓👍🏻

Felt a pit in my stomach as I started reading this headline. Last week we lost two major Star Trek icons, so I sensed disaster. Luckily, everything is okay. Whew! 😥 Maybe he can work the whole experience into the upcoming epic HEAT 2! 🙌🏻🤩
Wishing @michaelmannofficial a speedy recovery!

I feel so sad for my Halloween candy. This is their big night, but not a single Trick-or-Treater. It must be the candy equivalent of ending up on the Island of Misfit Toys. 😢
Maybe it’s the meds talking. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Facebook again with the 2015 reminder of the day of my sinus surgery. 🤦🏻‍♂️😂🤣😂🤣 #SinusSurgery #invertedpapilloma #uvahealth by @frontrowflynn

It’s fitting they both made the trek within a week of each other. Hopefully, they’re somewhere peaceful, exploring the Inner Light. 🖖🏻😢
Watching FIRST CONTACT, as good as it gets.

Was already tough week to be a #StarTrek fan. We lost #walterkoenig earlier this week, and today we lost our #NextGeneration captain, but also a titan of the stage and screen, #sirpatrickstewart. 🖖🏻😢 Next Gen was always about the ensemble; about family. My condolences go out to @jonathansfrakes @brentjspiner @levar.burton @officialmichaeldorn @gates_mcfadden @officialmarinasirtis @jerilryan @itswilwheaton @realmichellehurd @terrymatalas @michaelokuda and all of Sir Patrick’s Trek family.
I got to do a terrific Q&A with Sir Patrick at an intimate theater for his independent film, CODA, in 2020. It was a dream come true for a huge Captain Picard fan, and he was charming, engaging, and funny. I hope he’s now exploring the stars, boldly going where no one has gone before. RIP. 🖖🏻😢

“I don’t know, Doc, I just smell cotton…” 🤪 Less than a week to the surgery, and this thing starts really bleeding today. Couldn’t make it a few more days??? Hopefully, I can pack it until the surgery, we’ll see. 🤦🏻‍♂️

“At last, we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last, we will have revenge.” 😎 Yesterday was going to be a good day. 🙄 I came on here to post these, but then saw the sad news Walter Koenig had passed away. 😢 It had started off pretty great - the double-sided Darth Maul lightsabers I had pre-ordered six months ago finally arrived…and they are fabulous! 🤓👍🏻
They’re two separate lightsabers, with a clever attachment, to make it into the iconic Maul staff that rocked the Star Wars world in THE PHANTOM MENACE. For display purposes, luckily they break down to one hilt on an upright stand, which compliments the Luke Skywalker green Jedi saber on the other side of my bedroom tv. There is also an attachment for the second Maul stand, which allows you to display it together, as a staff. Some day, when I have more space for all these, I’ll display them that way. A fine addition to my lightsabers collection. #starwars #darthmaul #starwarscollectibles by @frontrowflynn

And then there were two. 😢 Walter Koenig was such an iconic sci-fi star, Star Trek wouldn’t have been what it was without Chekov as a member of the ensemble.
I was lucky enough to see him about fifteen years ago; his daughter, Danielle, was a writer on the show “The Dish”, which was like “The Soup”, but for Style Network, and our G4tv crew did the show with them. Synergy! 😂🤣 There was a lot of buzz one night we were taping, Walter had come to see the show. I couldn’t help, but pop out to the studio to see him. 🖖🏻🤓 Since we only used one camera for the show, the guys quietly positioned another camera on Walter, so I could see Chekov in our studio. He had a great time, was laughing, and applauding. It was a fun night.
We only have two left, Kirk and Sulu. 😢 RIP Walter!
