Hi from Ventura County!

I’m Izzy, co-founder of Froot Stand.

I was born and raised in Southern California, I’m a plant person and parent of 2, and my best memories revolve around communing with nature!

Froot Stand grew from the desire of providing the most delicious fruit from this incredible part of the world to appreciators nation-wide. Some of our customers are just down the road, and many of them are on the other side of the continent.

We work with small-scale local farmers in Santa Paula, Ojai, Carpinteria, and the surrounding regions to bring in the highest quality in-season produce to market.

We hope you enjoy eating it as much as we do! taken in Ventura County by @froot.stand

Here’s why my local post office (and customers) hate to see me coming.

1. Sometimes I don’t schedule order pick up because I am not entirely sure my orders will be packed by the time our mail person arrives, if that’s the case, I take my dozen or more packages to my post office.

2. On top of bringing a large volume of packages, I cut the line. 💁🏻‍♀️ My local post office lets people with prepaid labels drop it on the counter, when it’s a very large volume, they open the side door and let me drop my packages inside beside the counter.

3. I’m stinky most of the time because I am lifting heavy crates and packing orders!

In all seriousness, we love USPS and appreciate our mail carrier who has many times accommodated an order pick up even when I didn’t schedule it and our Montalvo USPS workers who are quick to open doors for me when I am carrying up to 40+ pounds of boxes at a time. You rock and are a core part of our mail order business! taken in Ventura, California by @froot.stand
