Today, I had the incredible opportunity to speak to 1,000 @DraftKings team members about breast cancer awareness and my personal journey alongside Larry and Dave whom have both been deeply impacted by breast cancer.

As a 2X breast cancer survivor having my last surgery as recent as this past August, I’m incredibly thankful for my life and the ability to share that self-advocacy is EVERYTHING!

Some of you know about the challenges I faced during this journey and most of my discovery came because I questioned everyone and everything! I got 2nd, 3rd & 4th opinions. I had to take the lead & the road less traveled and thank God I did. If I didn’t, I don’t know where I would be right now.

I want everyone to know I’m doing well, continuing to heal, learn, and help others. Thank you to my amazing tribe of family and friends who have supported me every step of the way. 💕

I also want to share a special Thank you to my brother @getfrost You’ve been there since 2021 at every appointment no matter what. I don’t know what I would do without you💗. @presson_fitness Thank you for stepping up in ways I didn’t even know I needed. 💕

I look forward to sharing more of my journey and I know you already know this but I’m going to say it anyway…this is your life! You MUST take the lead when it comes to your health. Ask questions. Get multiple opinions and trust yourself. If you feel any kind of way about anything going on with YOUR body, follow up on it. No matter how insignificant it may seem. And if you don’t feel comfortable with the outcome after a Dr. visit, make another appointment with another Dr. and keep doing that until you get what you need. You have the right to do that!

As we celebrated the life of Mr. Fitz aka Larry Fitzgerald “The Original” I could not help but think of our last few times together. Great conversations and lots of gratitude. One of those moments was during the NFL Honors. On the red carpet he had his sunglasses in his pocket and jokingly said he was going to put them on. I had a pair too so I said “let’s do it!” and we did.😆We decided that’s how we were showing up 😎🤣. It was a moment I’ll never forget and if you knew him, you would know exactly why. He was radiating light and to top it off…Seeing the joy and pride he had at the announcement his son @larryfitzgerald going into the pro-football hall of fame was just a beautiful moment to witness.

I’m grateful to have shared so many great conversations. I’ve always appreciated every email he sent telling me I was doing great work especially when it came to writing assignments considering he was a journalist for 50 years.

Thank you Mr. Fitz for sharing, supporting and for showing up. You will truly be missed. ❤️🕊️👑

Still feeling the gratitude! So honored to celebrate 20 years of @thelarryfitzgeraldfoundation with my brother @larryfitzgerald -I’m so proud of him. It’s a HUGE accomplishment to be able to say you have led an impactful foundation and created an incredible community along the way. Grateful to be a part of the journey.
