Dazzler (Age of Apocalypse)

In the years leading up to Apocalypse’s attack and conquest of Earth. Dazzler’s life was much as it was on Earth-616. However once Apocalypse attacked she became despondent about her lost life. Becoming a heavy smoker, unable to care anymore about preserving her singing voice.
Joining Magneto’s X-Men she was part of many strike missions against the forces of Apocalypse. Forming a relationship with the newer X-Man, Exodus. She as part of a team that reprogrammed Sentinels to recognise the X-Men as allies. However this was reversed by Abyss and his Brotherhood of Mutants.
Soon after the prime timeline of Earth-616 was re-established. With her Earth becoming a variant timeline.

Gon’Tarr, Orc Shaman

Attended a Miniature Painting night run by local place. Nice little hangout with painters of different levels. Not a bad way to spend a Thursday night 😀

Look forward to next week

Wasn’t sure what I’d paint. Grabbed a few Reaper Bones minis. Went with this old fella.

Experiment 2

Just thought I’d do a little quick design. Then a squish test to show the durability, squish and so forth. I’m pretty darn impressed.

Anyhoo. Something for those interested.

Note: I’m not affiliated, sponsored or involved with @decoart or @craftonlineau
I’m happy to get freebies though 😂

The heat gun from Amazon turned up today. So it was time for first test of the @decoart Bloom texture paints.

I just used a little bit in cracks of the cobblestones on base using 0 brush. First the Meadow Veil, than Acid Moss. Hit it with heatgun. Few seconds. *BLOOM*

Haven’t tried with hair dryer. Thats next test to see if heat gun is necessary. Don’t have one as I have no hair 😂

But I must say I’m loving the product. How I plan to use it won’t be huge areas. Just a little careful application. Will very definitely buying other colours. My mind is already bursting with ideas for basing. Wonder for instance could you make tuft like stuff on waxed paper.

Diamondback

Rachel Leighton was first seen as one of the original members of the criminal snake based group, the Serpent Society. Which was where she first came into contact with Captain America.
After the villain, Viper attempted to launch a coup against Sidewinder to take control of the Serpent Society. Diamondback and Sidewinder escaped. Gaining Captain America and his allies help in defeating Viper.
Not long after it was revealed she had resigned from the Serpent Society. Attempting to go straight. It being revealed that she and Captain America had started to date. She and fellow Society members, Asp and Black Mamba forming the mercenary group Bad Girls Inc (so 90’s).
Her relationship with Captain America seemingly to fall apart at some time during that period. Attempting to continue be a hero of sorts. Joining a few teams and even SHIELD.
However inevitability Diamondback fell back into villainy. Last seen returning to the newly reformed Serpent Society.

Abyss AoA

Most of Abyss’ early life is unknown. The son of Mystique and brother of Nightcrawler (though neither were aware of this). Abyss is rumoured to have fought his way inside Apocalypse’s lair and assassinated the horseman Bastion. Apocalypse impressed replaced Bastion making Abyss a horseman.
Going on to serve Apocalypse as a horseman until his apparent death at the hands of Banshee’s sonic scream. However due to the nature of his powers. It is unknown if he remained deceased.
