Did you see the news? 👀 Another incredible partnership has been announced for our Under Construction program 🚧 this time with our good friends at @adlfringe 😍

This industry collaboration will support one Under Construction residency in January 2027 specifically for South Australian artist/s to come to CCM, develop work and experience life at the Centre. And if you choose to present your work in Adelaide Fringe 2027, there’s support for that too 🎪🥳

This is what a Certificate III in Circus Arts looks like in practice: senior students devising and performing their own ensemble acts, from scratch, together.

We're proud to partner with @nicaaustralia and @wodongaseniorsc to deliver this qualification to our senior students, and recently they showed us just what they've been creating. The creativity and skill in these improvised acts genuinely blew us away.

There’s a school built for kids just like that.

Audition applications for 2027 enrolment in our full-time program are now open. Students train at Australia’s National Youth Circus and attend our specialist Flying Fruit Fly Circus School - where circus and learning go hand in hand.

Taking applications for kids joining year 3 and up in 2027.

Albury in-person auditions: 28 & 29 September
Video submissions due: 25 September

📣 Introducing Circus Centre Melbourne’s Companies in Residence 🤩 We are proud to announce One Fell Swoop Circus, 13 EGGS, and Darling and Daring as our new Companies in Residence.

Launched this year, the Company in Residence program marks an expansion of how CCM supports independent artists, moving beyond providing access to space towards deeper, ongoing partnership. Built on a Community of Practice model, the program embeds resident companies at CCM as active contributors, collaborators and leaders within a shared learning environment, offering access to studio space, workplace infrastructure, sector connections and platforms for visibility, in exchange for genuine participation in the life of the Centre.

The three companies were selected through an open expression of interest process, and will take up a 12-month residency at our Collingwood home, where they will train, create and connect with the wider CCM community through open training, showings, skill shares, shared studio time and more over the course of the residency.

Spanning emerging, mid-career and established practice, the selected companies reflect CCM’s commitment to supporting artists at every stage of their career.

Today is the final day of our sold-out season of Pay No Attention @sydneyoperahouse. Ironically, the cast have been receiving plenty of attention in Sydney and Matilda Devine and her parents joined Weekend Sunrise on @channel7 this morning.
