I am humbled and excited to officially announce that “A Purple Romance” is now available across Pakistan!

So many of you have asked me about it, and it is finally here. It’s been a journey, but it has made it.

I have lost my better tongue to the legacy of oppression. My ancestors likely bled and died listening to orders crafted much as I speak. I hope they can forgive how I share what I share, for my tears still taste of freedom.

We live in a system that seeks rent, without progress. The rules keep the pie small, and the same people eat.

It’s more about power than portion. Afraid to lose position, and alright with the cost. King of molehills, bending over for the world.

Taught to be small, we fight according to size. A glorified sideshow, not even a circus. The children of great men remain united, faithful, disciplined - feeble.

She lay there quite ordinary, as my vision cracked around her impact. Naturally naked, so strangely, grotesquely of interest. She casually leaked onto the bed, as I watched droplets form and fall.

Connection is seeing you as you are. The depth of connection increases as you unfold to yourself and share.

What holds back your tongue, and perhaps my ear - impedes on a knowing. What you don’t know, does not necessarily create space between us.

It will create space between you and yourself first, prompting a reconciliation. Share it to reconnect - no one said you need to do this alone.

After long gaps, what should I say? What is so important I want to express it today.

Yesterday unnecessary, today somehow true? Does it really matter, it is from me to you.

Nothing so grand that it sucks up all air. Important in the moment, it erupted with flair.

I wrote it to share it, then put it away in notes. Something mundane, or something you quote.

Some things present and some things past. Quintessentially human, or a thought racing fast.

I’ll post as I can, perhaps more on time. Thank you for reading these absurdities of mine.

When I see happy things and I want to tell someone - I have to think of who. The robustness of the emotion is lost, and sadness constricts in its halo.

Not an or emotion, but an and. A mixing of colors that I hesitate to paint with. Some days I keep my chin up and explore. There is a museum in my mind, I would like to share.

I think about what it will be like to meet you, and how I would like to show up. I wonder if holding hands will feel the same, or even better, because it’s you - finally you.

Will our conversation flow into a ravishing comfort, or will we build our dynamic over time. Will it feel safe and fun at the outset - a soundtrack to the moment playing in my mind.

Will I recognize you, and will you recognize me too. I walked this Earth for a long time, and I know people fairly well. Will you be known, or will you be new.

I don’t have an idea of you. You could be so many people, and I feel you inside me. There’s not a multiple sense, or a few. When I think about love, and family and building a life together.

There is only me and you.

Do you think about intentionality versus optionality? Most say they want the first, and respond better to the second.

In truth, everyone is an option, and yet the focus you bring to the former elicits a variety of emotions.

To temper it feels like a game, and I almost like being too much. If you don’t bring too much out of me, you won’t last by my side.

Interviewing for a muse - I’d rather show up like a flamethrower than a match stick. If the air doesn’t taste better in your presence, leave mine.

Adventure first, and safety second. I can hold space for you and wonder how you would fare on your own.

Most people’s lives are fairly interesting to them. What would make ours worth living? Why would I invite you into the one I’ve built?

If you don’t have a solid answer - I would.

It is easier to listen to the whispering when the night stands still. Answers that make no sense to questions you haven’t asked yet. An invitation for adventure with neither a picture nor a map. An implicit promise that it will be beautiful.
