New tires for the CBR: Michelin Road 5. The previous ones have been a slick after 4 years - Bridgestone Battlax T32. But they did a good job for me.

If you have some troubles with your motorcycle’s ignition, i.e., sometimes it has some troubles starting or out of the sudden it goes off. It could be worth checking the contacts. Sometimes the small metal plates in the female part are to much bend, so there is no reliable contact between two wires. Note that the contacts are fragile, so only bend them with love. I usually put some anti corrosion spray on all contacts before assambling them. #dominatornx650 #motorcycle #ignition_motorcycles by @fry_830

Relay based USB charger for motorcycles.

I just bought a cheep 12V charger for cars. Removed the plastic, soldered hot and ground on the platine and sealed everything with self sealing tape and iso tape on top - two layers for both tapes.

The idea is to put everything under the seat and put the long USB cable under the seat and tank all the way to the front. So in the end I have a cable that can charge my phone or powerbank in a tank back.

The colors of the relay have the following meaning:

87 / blue - normally open. This one needs to be connected as the hot wire to the USB charger.
87a / yellow - normally closed. I permanently sealed this one.
85 / black - control current. Will be connected to the light.
30 / red - hot wire (+). Requires a fuse. I use a 10 A fuse for testing. But 3 or less Ampere should be enough.
86 / white - ground wire (-). Both for the relay and the USB charger.

New tires for the Fym 125 3A. The old ones do look pretty good, but they are from 2006. 🙈 So better get new ones: Mitas H-03.
