We are looking for people who are ready to commit to the project, make a real contribution to the team and help achieve even greater results next year!

Anyone who is currently enrolled in a university in Latvia, both Bachelor’s and Master’s studies, is eligible to apply. The team has both technical and operational sides, so this opportunity is not limited to just engineering students.

Zinātnieku nakts 2026! ⚙️

Pagājušajā piektdienā, 25.09., mūsu komanda „Zinātnieku nakts” ietvaros RTU atvēra savu darbnīcu visiem interesentiem!

Apmeklētāji varēja apskatīt formulas, ko esam uzbūvējuši līdz šim, tostarp to, kas mums šogad palīdzēja izcīnīt trešo vietu Itālijā. Arī bija iespēja parunāt ar mūsu komandas biedriem, apskatīt video no sacensībām, apskatīt mūsu apbalvojumus un medaļas, kā arī redzēt, kur tieši mēs būvējam visas savas automašīnas.

Paldies visiem, kas atnāca ciemos! ☺️

Our 2026 season and everything we have achieved this year would not have been possible without the support of our partners! 💫

The full results of our 2026 competition season are here! 👏

This season was filled with all sorts of ups and downs, but the number 3 seemed to be unavoidable!

In our third competition season we went to three events across Europe. Across all static and dynamic events we snatched three podium finishes (all third place). In addition to that we also got third place in the Rimac Innovation Challenge and, of course, the third overall place at FSAE Italy!

Not to mention that the results in Italy were all achieved using our third engine of the season. So all in all, third time might indeed be the charm!

The 2026 season wasn’t the easiest, but every setback, every failure, and every hard-fought result brought us here, with our first ever cup in hand. And for that, 2026 was worth it all. by @fs.rtu

Esam neiedomājami lepni, ka varam pārstāvēt Latviju vienā no senākajām un prestižākajām Formula Student sacensībām pasaulē.

Trešā vieta FSAE Itālijā jau debijas sacensībās un tikai mūsu trešajā gadā kā komandai ir vēsturisks sasniegums.

Mēs vedam mājās kausu, kas ir pirmais ne tikai mūsu komandai, bet visai Latvijai! 🇱🇻

Mēs ieņēmām trešo vietu kopvērtējumā CV kategorijā FSAE Italy sacensībās!🥉

Šo neticamo sasniegumu veido visu disciplīnu kopējie rezultāti, jo īpaši mūsu trešā vieta inženiertehniskā dizainā un trešā vieta izturības un efektivitātes disciplīnā!

Atvest mājās kausu no Itālijas jau debijas sacensībās un tikai trešajā gadā, kopš startējam kā komanda, ir patiesi neticami, un mēs ar to ļoti lepojamies!

This unbelievable achievement is shaped by the combined results of all the disciplines, notably, our third place in Engineering Design and third place in Endurance & Efficiency!

FSAE Italy - Day 3

An incredibly eventful day with some very exciting news!

On our third day in Italy, we managed to complete the collection of stickers needed to partake in the dynamic events! On top of that, we also presented the rest of our static events, with one of the going really well. This meant we needed to present ED again, but this time in front of all the judges!

We got into the Engineering Design Finals at @formulasaeitaly! 🇮🇹

This means we got the honour of presenting our car to the entire judging panel alongside two other finalist team!

At this competition, the list of judges is very inspiring, with engineers coming from F1 teams, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Dallara, Pirelli and so many more giants in the automotive industry!

The final results of the Engineering Design Event will be announced this evening, so stay tuned and keep your fingers crossed! by @fs.rtu

FSAE Italy - Day 2

The second day of the competition was a very productive one for the team.

✅ Mechanical Scrutineering
✅ Business Plan Presentation
✅ Tilt test
✅ Noise test

On this day we managed to pass 3/4 necessary checks to be allowed on track. In addition to that, we also started tackling the static events.

Overall, a great day for the team with everything going perfectly according to schedule.

FSAE Italy - Day 1

Our first day of the competition was focused on going through the mechanical inspection. Our official slot was scheduled only for the second day of the event, but we wanted to get the feedback as soon as possible, so we could have more time to make any changes if needed.

We spent several hours going through every little thing on the car. This one was by far the most vigorous inspection we’ve ever seen.

A wonderful testing day together with @tugracing! 🤍

After replacing the engine at FS Poland, our car officially drives again!

Thank you to the TU Graz Racing team for helping us out and providing a place for us to test the car on such a short notice! We also loved the opportunity to visit your workshop and see exactly where the magic happens!

A special thank you also to the other teams who were ready to help us out! This really is the true spirit of Formula Student! taken in Austria by @fs.rtu
