In celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the iconic Route 66 this November, we invite you to experience the enduring allure of the “Mother Road” through a thoughtfully curated collection of cultural, culinary, and wellness experiences.

Much like the travelers who journeyed Route 66 in search of inspiration and connection, our very own Betty Egan cultivated Rancho Encantado as a destination for discovery, a tradition continued by Four Seasons today.

In 1968, Betty Egan purchased the ranch that would become Rancho Encantado, transforming it into a beloved hideaway and naming it after New Mexico’s moniker, the “Land of Enchantment.” A true pioneer, her magnetic presence and adventurous spirit drew an eclectic and illustrious mix of guests to the property over the years, including Peter Sellers, the Prince Rainier family, Jimmy Stewart, Johnny Cash, Nelson Rockefeller, John Wayne, and Kirk Douglas.
