Congratulations to our Director of Professional Development, Ryan Ouhmidou, on his graduation and accomplishments! 🎉

Ryan graduated with a degree in Information Technology with interests in health informatics and technology in healthcare. Throughout his time at FSU, he stayed actively involved through organizations while also completing an internship with ITS.

From leadership and service to professional growth, Ryan has made a meaningful impact both within HISA and across campus.

His advice:
“Take advantage of every opportunity, even the ones that seem small. The people you meet and the experiences you gain along the way end up meaning the most.”

Congratulations to our HISA Secretary, Jahzara, on her graduation and incredible accomplishments! 🎉

Jahzara graduated with a degree in Information Technology while completing the iSchool’s Health Information Technology Certificate program. Passionate about health and biomedical informatics and data analysis, she has made a lasting impact through her leadership, service, and dedication both on and off campus.

From serving in multiple student organizations to volunteering and giving back to her community, Jahzara truly embodies leadership and excellence.

Her advice:
“If there is a will, there is a way. Put your trust in God and network as much as possible to expand your opportunities!” 💛

Congratulations to our HISA Vice President, Victoria Valko, on all of her incredible accomplishments! 🎉

Victoria graduated Spring 2026 with a major in Public Health and a minor in Information Technology. Throughout her time at FSU, she has made an extraordinary impact through leadership, research, service, and academic excellence.

From serving as a UROP Leader Mentor and Research Assistant, to founding the Bachelor of Science in Public Health Student Association (BSPHSA), to interning with BeOne Medicines, Victoria has continuously demonstrated dedication, ambition, and passion for improving healthcare and innovation.

Her achievements include being recognized as a Torchbearer 100 recipient, earning President’s and Dean’s List honors, and placing 3rd at ISL Poster Day.

Victoria’s advice to students:
“Get involved on campus as much as you can and as early as you can!”

We are so proud to have had Victoria as part of HISA’s leadership team and cannot wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes in biotechnology, healthcare consulting, and beyond. 💙🧬
