LIMINAL

I’m happy to get to continue to create and explore dance in different ways. For this one, I really wanted to explore shapes and lines on dancer’s bodies. While working closely with @nouveaumotion , we discovered it naturally had a commercial feel, which guided the lights we wanted. And also made me realize what I naturally gravitate towards. I’m really focusing on collaboration this year and I’m proud to say, this truly was a team effort.

Thank you @nouveaumotion for making this idea come alive on camera and dedicating all those hours in preproduction with our 30 shot list. Thank you to @jules_zajez for assisting me on this one and streamlining what’s on my brain to words that make sense for the dancers. Thank you to all the beautiful dancers for trusting in the process. You already know y’all are all so talented and stars in your own lane. Thank you to the production team @ajfilmss_ @imericcortes @bre97d @pedrodinavez @juankortiz_01 for holding it down with lights, the camera and helping the day move more swiftly (and transporting those damn stage pieces). Thank you @chantiebella for supporting with makeup and adding lil details. And massive thank you to @ant.101 @rollinstudios.official for letting me use this beautiful space and to create freely.
