Hey bestie!✌🏽
I’m Lex, the founder of Fueled by Flour. What started with one mixer, a tiny kitchen, and a whole lot of late-night baking sessions has grown into something I never could’ve imagined: a community built on connection, celebration, and carbs that feel like comfort.

For me, cake has never been just dessert, it’s a love language. It’s how we show up for birthdays, mark milestones, and turn ordinary Tuesdays into something worth remembering. From heart cakes that serve looks to cupcakes that taste like nostalgia, every bake I share has one purpose: to remind you that life itself is worth celebrating.

Here you’ll find more than just pretty pictures of cake. I share cake-decorating tutorials, home bakery tips, behind-the-scenes of my journey, and real talk about building a business from scratch. And because I believe baking should feel as cute as it looks, I’ve created merch that helps you celebrate your passion in and out of the kitchen.

So welcome to the Flour Fam 🫶🏽 A space where shimmer is a lifestyle, frosting is unlimited, and every single person at the table matters 🥂🎀🍰

for the cake girlies who love a little whimsy in their life 💗🦄💫 by @fueledbyflour

If you’ve ever wondered what actually goes into creating a custom cake, it’s a LOT of tiny decisions.

For this KATSEYE cake, every detail had a job from the color choices to the piping and finishing touches.

The final result is cute, but the process is where the magic happens. 💕 by @fueledbyflour

The “everything needs to taste like fall” era has finally entered the chat 🍂

That means the Fueled by Flour fall menu has officially dropped, and it includes:

🎃 Pumpkin Pie: pumpkin spice cake, salted caramel filling + whipped cream frosting.

☕️ Chai Latte: chai-spiced cake with real chai tea whipped cream frosting

🍎 Apple Pie: cinnamon cake with real apples + homemade apple pie filling + whipped cream frosting

So whether you're a pumpkin spice girlie, a chai baddie, or the diva who orders apple pie every fall.

There's a cupcake waiting for you.

Fall orders are now open in Oceanside + North County San Diego.

Send this to your fall dessert bestie + go decide who you're sharing with.

This is your reminder that fall flavors don't have to mean pumpkin spice everything.

That’s why I wanted this menu to have a little something for every kind of fall dessert girlie. ☕️🍎🎃

Fall birthday girlies, this one’s for you. 🎀🍂

Whether you’re going full pumpkin party, keeping it chic and moody, or leaning into a cute fall-inspired theme, your cake should feel like part of the celebration not an afterthought.

Have your theme picked out? Let’s turn it into a cake. 🎂

One of my favorite things about custom cakes is that your inspo doesn’t have to come from another cake. an artist, a movie, a color palette. whatever fits the vibe. 💕

For this one, the inspiration was KATSEYE, and I got to turn that whole aesthetic into a cake.

That’s what I love about custom orders. It gets to be completely yours.

Not to be dramatic, but a baker can never have too many cute things 🎀

Stick one on your laptop, water bottle, notebook, packaging supplie or wherever your baker life happens.

You found the inspo, and you knew exactly what you liked about it.

Now you just need someone who can take that idea and make it even better.

That’s where I come in. 🎂

I’ll take your inspo, theme and colors and turn them into your dream cake.

The goal isn't to give you the exact cake in your inspo. It’s to give you the cake you were trying to find when you saved that inspo in the first place and to say “this is better than what I imagined.”

So If you’re celebrating a birthday, bridal shower, baby shower, graduation or just need an excuse for cake. I’m your girl. 💕
