Shaky Knees Festival WAS INCREDIBLE!!! It was SUCH an experience for our family but especially because we are music lovers raising a little music lover. Night 1: I discovered some bands that will now be on HEAVY ROTATION: Geese and Turnstyle and lost my shit screaming and ugly crying during Fontaines DC and The Strokes. Day 2: We saw Gene Gallagher's band Villanelle from the front row and Delilah swears he saw us in our shirts. Unfortunately we were evacuated and got caught in a massive downpour missing Pierce the Veil, The Prodigy, and 21 Pilots LOL. Day 3: was a long day of amazing music kicking off with my new favorite chick singer Violet Grohl then a number of other great acts but highlights were on Santigold and Wu Tang. OMG METHOD MAN WAS ACTUALLY PERFORMING AND THEY COVERED OLD DIRTY BASTARD'S SONGS!! Then Delilah's favorite band Gorillaz closed us out, watching with her enjoying something she loves so much (and knows all the lyrics and the lore) and being in the presence of Damon Albarn (icon of my youth) and remembering I bought my first Gorillaz CD from Virgin Megastore in 2001 GOT ME HELLA choked up! The experience was absolutely magical. What a fabulous Eves family adventure... I might never financially recover but totally worth it!! by @fullbodied_and_complex

The world really is in shambles and AI might actually murder us within the next decade BUT... The Oasis 2027 tour was announced today and Noel and Liam REALLY love each other again so maybe there is hope. And I'm hoping to catch them at least two more times (and one of them with my baby girl) before the rise of the machines. So I've gotta be happy at least right now! Give me a day and I'll be back to my regularly scheduled existential meltdown but today I'm registered for tickets for Glasgow, Slane Castle, and Boston. ::fingers crossed:: by @fullbodied_and_complex

Delilah rolled into her double digit era with a BANG!!! Our first family concert trip was one to remember. Djo and Tame Impala blew our minds. Can't think of a better way to celebrate your 10th birthday! So happy we could make that happen for her. Had SUCH a BLAST supporting England yesterday at Finn's. We met so many cool people, made a lot of friends from across the pond, and had some wonderful conversations. I only mentioned Noel Gallagher twice, I swear!! I wasn't gonna make a whole post about this but found these pics last night when discussing the Shaky Knees festival with Delilah. I think we are going and taking her this year. needless to say she's excited to see the Strokes now that she knows Mama met them and maybe stole a kiss or two from Nick Valensi that night. The pics with the guys are from 2001 a month after my 21st birthday and the one with Jules is from 2003 right after I turned 23. First off this feels like yesterday. Secondly in my mind I'm still that age and still look like that, reality says otherwise. Time is so cruel!! #TheStrokes #GarageRock #BandAid by @fullbodied_and_complex
