It's GivingTuesday and @therecollectiveorg is having a fundraiser! Consider donating at the links in our bio to help them continue their liberation work! Here's a message from them about the work they've done this year:

This year, the ReCollective has welcomed 12 new Ukombozi Fellowship Alumni, hosted our second Liberation Rally, and delivered our first summit presentation at the Young Minds Matter 2023 Conference. Amidst all the good aspects, 2023 has also presented its fair share of difficulties. We persist in combating oppression, racism, and white supremacy stemming from the Texas Legislature. We firmly oppose the acts of genocide occurring in Palestine, Congo, Sudan, and various other nations. Despite persistent efforts to suppress our voices, we persist in dismantling white supremacy in any and all spaces!

We push through the difficult times so that we can continue to do this work and effect the change that we know is needed. On this #givingtuesday, we need your support! Donate today through our Liberating Our Stories Through Art Fundraiser! We're back from our wellness break with exciting news! Black Women's Reproductive Health and Sexuality is HERE! Our co-founders Dr. Kim Baker and Dr. Kenya Johnson collaborated with over 100 Black women to provide holistic solutions that put Black women's health first. Too often Black women's voices and contributions are not included in research, programs, and policy that affect their reproductive health and sexuality. We're proud to see Dr. Baker and Dr. Johnson shifting the dialogue, centering Black women, and putting antiracism into practice. Check out the book in our bio #BlackWomen #ReproductiveHealth #SexualHealth #FullCircleMoment Black woman with Black Women's Reproductive Health & Sexuality: A Holistic Public Health Approach" in an arch above her head. While antiracism work is necessary, it is not easy. Holistic wellness is one of the Full Circle Strategies organizational beliefs because we understand the importance of taking care of ourselves while we are doing this work and pausing when necessary. We will be closed for our Summer Wellness Break from July 31st until September 4th. We'll continue engagements when we return. #antiracism #wellness #takeabreak by @fullcirclehou

Last week, Full Circle Strategies was in Colorado for the first time! Donisha, Luana, and Kenya participated in a week full of events and engagements. They held office hours with our Equity Action Project Alumni, spoke as part of the Equity Speakers Series with @tacaw_org and MANAUS, and finally finished up the week at the Equity Symposium sponsored by MANAUS and @cohealthfdn. Thank you to all the orgs who made last week possible! A special thank you to @bryanalfredoat at MANAUS for all their work with us from January 2021 until now. by @fullcirclehou

Since January 2021, Full Circle Strategies has been partnering with MANAUS for the Equity Action Project (EAP). EAP allowed Full Circle Strategies and MANAUS to collaborate to provide antiracism facilitations for organizations in Colorado's Roaring Fork Valley. This 7-week cohort model was designed to introduce Race Equity Organizational Change to leaders interested in doing the work. Since starting, 8 cohorts, 31 organizations, and 150 people have engaged in meaningful dialogue surrounding how to promote antiracist change within themselves and their organizations.

We're excited that this week the partnership continues as three of the EAP facilitators, Kenya, Luana, and Donisha go to the Roaring Fork Valley for the first in-person EAP engagements! Stay tuned to see the work that we do on the ground in Colorado! by @fullcirclehou
