What does it mean to “Repent”?
At one point in my life I believed that it just meant to be sorry, however I had to come to learn its true meaning. Repentance in Hebrew is teshuvah (a term derived from the root shuv ,meaning “to return” or “turn back”. So when you Repent , God is not saying to just say sorry. Matter of fact because He gave us a Free Will, He is not even forcing you to repent. But what repentance Offers is a change of direction. When you repent you make a conscience decision to turn towards God in your heart. You turn from the world and turn to the creator of Heaven and earth. When I think back some years ago, on the day I was in my bathroom and I fell to my knees crying and gave my heart to the Lord, that was the first time ever in my life that I had felt conviction but with the most overflow of love that’s so indescribable until you’ve experienced it yourself. When you turn to God you’re trusting in His direction. What I had to realize was that I had my own free will, but God also has a will for each and every one of us and what He desires for us is not the same as what we desire for ourselves. To repent means to return. God knew you before you were in your mother’s womb, He knew the plans that He had for you and because of sin coming into this world we wanted to seek our own way. But God is calling His children to turn back to Him, receive His love and the life that He has for you in Christ. Turning to God will be the best decision you could ever make, because He offers you everything the world simply cannot! and that’s peace in the midst of chaos, joy that makes no sense, love that fills you and heals you completely, true purpose and identity as a son and daughter of God and most of all a relationship with the One who loved you first. He will never stop calling you, will you turn to Him and answer?

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Faith is a substance. It’s something you can grab hold to and never let go of , if you choose to. Putting your faith in what Jesus did on the cross for you is not something we should take lightly. It’s that very substance when life hits you with things and circumstances you simply weren’t ready for , that places you back on that firm foundation. When you look up the word “substance” there are the three key characteristics: a pure substance has uniform properties throughout, it cannot be broken down into simpler parts by physical means and every sample has the same properties. Faith is tested. It goes through trials to ensure it’s pure. This walk in Christ is not about you perfecting yourself, it’s based upon you placing your faith in the One who is perfect. He died and rose from the grave and perfectly destroyed the works of the enemy. We have eternal life not based on our works but based upon our Faith. When you finally realize what God did for you then not only will you make Jesus your Savior but your Lord. We go from faith to faith and glory to glory… meaning you can have more faith. Every trial is not the end and every test won’t be the same , but just remember it’s not about what you see it’s about who you see. Hope in Jesus.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
- Hebrews 11: 1

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
- 1 Timothy 6:12

Jesus Loves you. He came for you. He died to give you new life . You may not recognize it now but He did. Whether you’ve been feeling a tug on your heart, you’ve been hearing His name more than often or you simply hardened to not acknowledge Him. He’s a present God and He visits all. It’s up to you to answer the door. We can try everything this life could offer us, but there will always be a space in us that only can be filled by God. He wants you to know Him because He’s always known you. Try Him. If you simply can’t accept He’s there… ask. Unharden your heart and ask “Jesus if your real reveal yourself to me”. It’s not religious, it’s a relationship. Just as you first meet a person, you meet Him and get to know Him, His love for you, He heals you, delivers you, sets you free, renews your mind and pours over your heart. Scales falloff your eyes and you will see brighter. He’s waiting… Try Him.

Now look at this way in the spiritual, this person is on the Most wanted list, but by God. He wants them, more than they can ever imagine. They are most valuable to Him, there is no price on them because they are priceless to Him. There is a main contact on the Most Wanted list ,pointing others to intercede and call upon Jesus on their behalf. That person soon becomes tired in running, and finally stops to make that decision to either …surrender or keep running. But then they reflect back to that courtroom and they move in faith to fully surrender. Think about when someone surrenders. They let go of everything, drop to their knees and lift their hands. They know in their heart that they can no longer order their own steps. Their life is now in the hands of someone else. In the Hands of God. What many fail to realize is that once you surrender God is not mad at you, He’s happy to see you come back to Him. You’re not being driven to a prison cell, and you’re not returning to the court, because the verdict on your life was already made. You’re returning Home…

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. -1 Corinthians 6:20

But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

“The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
“But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

“You were brought with a price. “

Many of us don’t realize that. Your life is not your own, you were brought. You have heard Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose defeating death. At the cross there was an exchange. What was that exchange? His life for my life. When you get baptized it is symbolic of this trade. You die to your old life and rise up new in Christ. The old you passed away, you have been brought with a price. Now if you accept Christ and don’t exchange your life for His ,what does that make you ? A thief. You’re holding onto something that no longer belongs to you. At some point in your life you must choose to surrender or go on the run. Many of us including myself have ran holding onto our lives, refusing to give it all up. This morning the Holy Spirit showed it to me this way…. Think about someone running with things in their hands that don’t belong to them. Officers see what they have done and go after them. That person then has a choice to either surrender or keep running. Instead they try to run but they get caught and taken into custody. That person is then taken to trial. In court they go up in front of a judge and as the judge gets ready to make a verdict someone walks in and says “ I’ll take the charges and do the time for them in exchange they can have my life.” The judge asks if they agree and they agree, so happy , thanking the other person and cheering as they walk out the courtroom.
As that person leaves and goes about their life they forget about that exchange.
Returning to their own life , they are taking back something that doesn’t belong to them. They go back on the run. Always thinking of their next move and living their life in fear of what would happen if they got caught again. But this time their face goes on the “Most Wanted” list. ( See Next Post…)

The world says this about prosperity…

-Wealth
-Success
-Status
-Material things
-Creates jealousy and envy

Yet in Christ prosperity births something far different…

-Praise
-worship
-Rejoice
-Give glory
-Give Thanks

So What happens when you prosper in Christ?

-Our hearts align with the Father’s will
-There is a heart posture change
-We Trust
-Our faith increases and so much more.

We are strengthened when we prosper in God. It’s like lifting weights. People who lift all the time are eager to get back into the gym to lift. Not because of the pain but because of the outcome of staying committed. 💪🏽When you lift you go up in weight size. You want more because of the results you receive. Prospering in God, it strengthens you not only because of what you receive from Him but because of the Love He has for you by giving you more to carry. The more boxes you carry in Christ the lighter the boxes feel because you aren’t holding it alone you now recognize by staying committed you know the outcome is more than you could ever think of. 🙏🏽📮

Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.
Proverbs 16:20

When we think of a harvest, the first thing we think of is the end result. The good stuff. It’s fresh, ready to be used, it looks good , the satisfying feeling of knowing you grew something from a seed and now it’s complete. But what if we recorded the whole entire process and saw what it took to get there. Now think of your life in the same way.
Where you’re at now is not the end result. It’s not the end and it’s not the beginning. Whether it feels like the bottom of a barrel or the top of a mountain top. The main premise for your very existence is to know and have a relationship with the only One who has an aerial view of your life. He sees everything that needs to be uprooted, the weeds that need to be cut, the lack of nutrition, the unhealthy companion plants etc, but are you willing to accept those changes in your life? Free will is truly a gift because what is unconditional love? It’s freely given, not controlled, no bounds to the things you do and things that you say. God has a purpose for every one of us. His purpose is His will and His love wrapped into a package that most refuse to open. But if you open it , when harvest time comes around in your life ,what you gather won’t even be the main focus… who you met will be.

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Matthew 13:23

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.
Matthew 9:37

Just want to give a huge thanks to @its.knicole @goddrawmecloser ‼️Thank you for your obedience and sacrifice to be a vessel that God could use to draw His children in closer to Him. From early morning prayers to late night prayers, covering so many going through all different and some same battles. This 21 day helped push me to be more obedient in what He has called me to do. Tuesday night miracles and testimonies were shared that changed and shifted us all and a REVIVAL sparked,🙌🏽🔥as we all came off mute and the Holy Spirit swept through every single one of us. I could feel the page turning not only for me but so many, even those who never fasted or just began surrendering to God. It was so impactful. The most important thing anyone could do is choose to place Jesus at the center of their life. He truly is the way, the truth and the life. Seek Him because He lives , and He will come when you call on Him. Don’t worry about how you will change or how people will view you, you won’t do it alone. I pray for everyone who joined on this fast that you continue to draw in closer and closer, surround yourselves with those who are seeking, pray for those who are not just there because we all once weren’t , stand in the promises He gave to you and remember that you can’t lose no matter what because the battle was already won. 💪🏽🙏🏽❤️✝️ by @fullonfaithco

Often times we hear the word conviction and cringe, draw away, ignore and simply resist. But have you ever thought about conviction being the medicine that we know will help restore us but we dread to take it because of the taste. It’s a word not stated enough but it sits in the seat of love. Growing up I didn’t go to church every Sunday and as I got older I only heard the feel good messages. But the moment and day God moved on my heart I cried out to Him, He showed just how far away I was from Him and the sin I chose over Him. My heart changed, repentance was instantly and that day God delivered me. As I began to get closer to Him, I felt drawn to convicting messages and verses that knelt me to stay humble in my walk. Often we let conviction from people turn us away from the plans that God has for us. It’s by the Holy Spirit who convicts us to be pricked in the heart to change our ways. He points us to Christ and gives us an inward transformation. Today the Holy Spirit spoke to me that conviction sharpens us. It’s like a pencil sharpener to a pencil. It is the only tool that will allow you to use the pencil to write perfectly. When your heart is ready for true change you won’t resist conviction. You will run to it, you will love Him even more. Just as a good parent, you speak to your children and let them know of their wrongs and how those wrongs can reshape their lives. It’s out of love that you warn them. Conviction in this realm will put you in a physical prison. But what places you in a spiritual cell ? Sin. Conviction leads you out of that cell. Don’t allow conviction to be something that makes you flee from God but rather run to Him and finish your race with Him. God is Love. His love for you is far beyond humanly love, it’s an unconditional love that can be felt in your entire being when you humble yourself unto Him. 📮
“And when he is come, he will convince the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.” This verse highlights the Holy Spirit’s role in revealing sin, righteousness, and judgment to the world. John 16:8
