At a Strategic Partnership & Investment Convening in Abuja, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, told investors and partners:

"Don't see FUL as an institution waiting for charity. See it as an institution offering OPPORTUNITY and Returns on Investment."

From student hostels, AI & Cybersecurity labs, to health facilities - FUL is opening its doors for structured partnerships to build a truly world-class institution.

With over 30,000 students and 17 faculties in just 15 years, the future is bright.

Students of the Department of Linguistics and African Languages, Federal University Lokoja, accompanied by their lecturers, embarked on their 2026 Linguistic Field Trip to Ekinrin-Adde in Ijumu Local Government of Kogi State.

The field trip features language documentation, interview with native speakers, cultural observation, and audio/video recording, amongst other interesting activities.

It is indeed a field study of language, culture and society.

No language, no communication...
