fits, sights, food, mileage from Albufeira. by @fundthementally

Long the life that I’ve lived
Longing the stint that is left
Largely consisting of odes
To the child I seem to forget

Long the distance I’ve travelled
Longer the odds that I care
Lording over my heart
Thoughts of the sun in my head

sorry but... 🤷 runner edition :)

did you know you only need three types of shoes (for high mileage training)?

- The daily trainer you do most of your relaxed runs with

- The speed/tempo trainer you run your faster sessions in

- The supershoe you wear for key workouts and races

If you're like me, you almost skip the speed trainer altogether and rock an old race shoe for those speed sessions and long runs with pace :)

100 Anos CPME 10K - 34:08 chip time - P6 overall - P3 AG 🥉

For the last two months I have been running with one hand figuratively tied around my back.
I thought I was overtraining or that something else was going on around my fatigue levels, when in reality it was just my asthma medication keeping my lungs from working at 100%. 4 days after changing said medication, and these pictures show you how I felt this entire race 😁

It's good to be back. The best is yet to come.

I sat on the sidelines today, and it reminded me why I love this sport so much.
