September 3rd in Atlanta was, without a doubt, one of the most special nights of my life.
I had the opportunity to hear a brand-new song that they had never played live before, and I was completely shocked. Being there and experiencing something for the very first time alongside the band was something I never expected to happen.

But what meant the most to me wasn’t only the music. It was the people.

I’ve interacted with the band before, but never in the way I did that night. Jamie, Cam, Ryan, Daniel, and Lukas were incredibly kind and welcoming. I had the chance to speak with every single member, more than I ever had before, and I was able to express how grateful I am for their music and for everything they’ve given me as a fan.

The way they treated me genuinely made me feel like I was someone important to them, almost like I was part of their family or even part of the band for a moment. That feeling is something I’ll carry with me for a very long time.

I still think about that show, and honestly, it makes me emotional. I don’t think I’ve ever felt that level of happiness through music before. There are no words that feel big enough to explain how much I admire these incredibly talented and
genuinely sweet human beings.
All I know is that I want to keep going to their shows. I want to keep supporting them, watching them grow, and experiencing whatever they decide to create next. I’m so incredibly proud of them, and I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality, kindness, and the way they connect with the people who come to see them.

One of my favorite things about a Knoll show is watching the audience afterward. You can see the surprise and amazement on people’s faces when the set ends. I’ve had the chance to talk to people who had never listened to Knoll before, and then watched them completely fall in love with the band after seeing them live.

That’s something really special.

To Jamie, Cam, Ryan, Daniel, and Lukas: thank you. Thank you for the music, the shows, the conversations, the kindness, and for making September 3rd a night I will never forget.

I’m incredibly grateful that I got to be there.

I’ll see you at the next one. ❤️ by @funeralgrind
