My set at @room303radio is out!
So…. Tokyohot is real, never imagine Tokyo’s summer is way hotter than Hong Kong

Wasn’t in the best state after shopping in the heat for hours with mellow heat stroke along the set, but here we go!

Going relatively deep broken beat for the first half of the set, and dropping my kind of techno at the later half

It’s actually the first techno radio set I am publishing, which it’s still a deep core part of myself, with the kind of penetrative soft and psychedelic touch that always gonna resonate

1 @max_sampimon - inner refleft
2 @c_a_r_r_i_e_r_ - Slow punctures
3 @isolatedmaterial - Digital forest (with suprise visitor popping in)
4 @max_sampimon - Content reset
5 @kangding_ray - Asymmetric lifeform
6 xpresh - one kiss -> @timsensient - the end of all things
7 @__isabelsoto - elemental core -> @_tauceti_ - jade
8 Stefano greppi- eight -> son kite - transition
9 @alan_backdrop - quaraman + @alderaan___ - autumn -> @lukeslater_planetary - o-ton reassembled 3
10 @konduku - sarmal

YouTube link is in bio / linktree, hope u enjoy!

And there’s little error which I was shown as rural takeover at the bottom left corner
But I got to say rural festival is truly special, and it possibly the best festival I have been to IMO, definitely gonna be back again

Dropping some 170 thing for this set, start with wandering through the forest and woods with deep tribal, ritual, psychedelic halftime ambience, going deeper, softer in the mid and roaming between machinery, sci-fic, idm stuffs towards the end, and closing with one of my favourite ep from trickpony

Entering the threshold of Avyakta | 未現之境.

Continuing our artist spotlight for the Omen Wapta showcase at Acadana, we delve into the elastic tensions and liminal frequencies guided by Faxtory and Konnection.

Faxtory（Distrikt) moves through the floor with fluid introspection and understated precision. Born in Hong Kong and shaped across years in New York, his selections reflect the subterranean roots of house, tactile rhythmic drive, and kinetic propulsion. Echoes of classical and jazz discipline—rooted in percussion, trombone, and drums—ghost through his sets, bending momentum, groove, and release into soundscapes that feel both cerebral and deeply transportive.

Konnection (Liminal Space / 宀) treats sound as an unfolding journey across borderless territories. Emerging from the underground and holding residency at 宀 Club, Fung sculpts a cinematic continuum woven from deep techno, halftime, low-end pressure, and broken rhythms. Known for patient, locked-in blends and acute crowd intuition, his sonic world oscillates across tension and release. Through his imprint and event platform Liminal Space, he continuously explores the blurred edges between psychedelic trance states and raw physical resonance.

Two navigators shaping the unseen space between movement and stillness. by @fungicf

KONNECTION (Liminal space/宀) @fungicf @liminalspace.hk

Emerging from Hong Kong’s underground, Konnection (aka Fung) has swiftly made his mark with immersive, long-mixing sets that fuse techno, broken beat, bass, and halftime. A resident at Mihn Club, he has performed across Asia—from Seoul to Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Shanghai—and graced festivals like Clockenflap and Synthasia, sharing stages with renowned international acts. Through his label Liminal Space, he champions cinematic, psychedelic electronic music without genre boundaries, running parties and an open-format radio series that showcases regional talents and spans peak-time energy to daytime vibes.

This Saturday we welcome @astrangewedding in the special Liminal Distrikt at @mihnclub with @distrikt_hk @liminalspace.hk

Being a big fan with ASW’s production for a really long time, so this is kind of a dream booking to me personally

Besides, even with a lot of days and nights spent, this would be the very first round of working on a collab for @distrikt_hk

Can’t be more excited for the weekend:)

The great September merger between Distrikt and Liminal Space gets the two families both behind and in front of the booth, all the while hosting an artist they've been admiring for years:

LMNL_DSTRKT with A Strange Wedding [LIVE] and 宀 residents Faxtory & Konnection.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 23h
HK$150 (link in bio) / HK$250 (door)

A Strange Wedding is a French DJ, producer and trained sound designer based in Berlin, known for crafting mesmeric sonic journeys.

Merging a mysterious blend of polychromatic influences, his music brings together tempos and sounds from diverse horizons within the same cosmic framework. Exploring experimental bass music and the most psychedelic forms of techno, he opens breaches in space time, creating soundscapes that shimmer and stretch between constellations of inner worlds.

Great big Saturday night and Hong Kong premiere of an artist the hosting crews bonded over, so get ready for a wedding, and by the sound of it, it's gonna get pretty strange 🛰️

6 years ago at @mihnclub 2nd anniversary, @taku_junktion & @___romi_ b2b set completely shifted my perspective as a DJ.

It was the night I realized that warm ambience baseline aren’t necessarily low energy, which could also be deeply penetrative.

Never did I imagine that 6 years later, I’d be sharing the decks with Taku san for an all-night-long b2b at the same dance floor, which this is truly something special to me

From open to close, B2B by me and @taku_junktion

@taku_junktion
@fungicf

七夕漸近，鵲橋相會。雙子日月星宿成一線映照 Techno 舞池中的一對對蚯蚓。

FRIDAY, JULY 31, 23h
HK$150 (link in bio) / HK$250 (door)

The unlikely pairing dives head first to determine where their dj voices convene, and what can they showcase when standing together.

Taku Hirayama's buoyant trippy grooves meet Konnection's razored, deep-focused fixations, in a really special outing over the last Friday of July.

Building bridges and bridging gaps - both actors are all but unknown to Hong Kong clubbing, and to shine a light on both at the same time should bring a renewed sense of belonging to techno, and to the dancefloor.
