This album was also surreal for the fact that my lil cuzzo @funk4eva came home from prison after beating a life sentence.

He used to freestyle using an asthma pump as a microphone. I would post those freestyles on All Bay News, and he would do numbers every time.

Now, to see him transition from freestyling into an actual studio, recording a banging record on a $10,000 microphone, is a dope full-circle moment.

Paraphernalia to the Mob is more than just an album. It’s a testimony of perseverance, redemption, growth, and turning struggle into art.

From an asthma pump to a $10,000 microphone… that’s a story worth telling. 🎤💯 by @funk4eva

Thank God I made in home from dat life sentence with my mind intact, you go through so many things in there that change you, you etha get better or bitter. I had life caught some more cases while I was down they was tryna give me another life sentence den went to the hole for murder on top of fighting my new charge all while still tryna turn over my original life sentence, an I never gave up ,dat type of faith ell have me getting wrote about in Hebrews , God is good an never give up no matter what it look like faith is currency with God #FunkFree #ripDev #ripLexx #ripkobe #ripkent by @funk4eva

Had the opportunity to work with my family, Funk4eva. It was a surreal moment because I used to post and support him on my page while he was enduring a life sentence in California State Prison. Now he’s home, free, and back creating.

We put together a solid piece and got some production assistance from Dbthageneral. The energy in the room was real, the conversation was genuine, and the music reflected the journey. It was a very productive night and a reminder that redemption, resilience, and brotherhood are powerful things.

Salute to everyone who kept the faith and stayed solid through the storm. More work on the way. 🎶💯 #Funk4eva #DbThaGeneral #BayAreaMusic #FamilyFirst #FromTheYardToTheStudio by @funk4eva

RexxlifeRaj is a phenomenal artist — but he’s an even better friend. 💯

His day-one brother Funk4eva, fresh home after surviving some of California’s most dangerous prison yards, is now back doing what he was born to do… and he’s doing it on stage right next to Raj.

That kind of alley-oop?
That kind of loyalty?
That kind of platforming another man’s talent after he’s fought his way back to freedom?

🔥 It can only lead to big things and great music.
Real ones lift each other up.
This is what Bay Area brotherhood looks like.
