#WelcomeToHomeEc 🏠📝
Home Ec (Emphasis on HOME) | Class 15: Things You Should Do as Soon as You Move Into Your Rental/Apartment 📦🔑

Don’t feel like watching… screenshot my list:

🚪 Do a final walk through the property if possible
📹 Take videos and pictures BEFORE moving anything in. Make note of any cosmetic or functional issues.
🔌 Inspect and run ALL appliances ASAP. Don’t wait until you need them. Keep an eye out for leaks or other issues.
📝 Complete your inventory/condition report IN FULL and keep a copy for your records.
📂 Keep your lease agreement and all rental information in a folder on your computer or email for quick access.
📅 Make note of your move out date. Most rentals require 30 to 60 days’ notice. Set a calendar reminder about a month before your notice deadline so you can decide whether to renew or start looking for your next property.

This series is for busy women, families, renters, and homeowners who want to feel more confident taking care of their home 🤍

The Bournes 🖤

We finally took some updated family portraits and they turned out beautifully! 🥹 These are 2 of our favorites and they will definitely be getting printed for our gallery wall soon. Thank you to @tiffanycouture.co for capturing our joy so flawlessly. PS- the way we had to beg, bargain & bribe Elijah was unreal.. y’all are getting selfies next year cuz I can’t. He is truly the main character in our family and the world revolves around him! 😂 by @funke_fresh
