Futures first workshop in Hong Kong back in 2023. Here folks are training how to tune into the feeling inside a sound and simply be that tone and texture with clarity and a simple movement. Yes, amazing shapes and tut techniques are dope! But the message here is simple...how dope is your vibe, your connection to music, and your flow in balance with your tut foundations? Also! The cultural styles of Popping, Turfin, Flexin, Vogue, Liquid and others have contributed a lot of foundational swag and tut foundations before us. Being aware and even in tune with some of that will help folks move things forward in a more rooted, aware and super dope new way.

Tea Buggz reflects on a time when clothing made cultural identity visible before the dancing even began.
Poppers, breakers, and lockers could often be recognized by the way they dressed. For poppers, suits, ties, suspenders, and white gloves were not just fashion choices—they were part of how the culture was represented.
The look introduced the dancer before the first move.
Keeping that visual legacy alive is another way of preserving the culture.
