hey im Valeree and if you don’t know me i am a diva of inherent chaos, female rage courses through my veins like oxygen (usually channeled via satirical songwriting), and if i were a movie it would either be a comedy starring me- or more likely- i would be the comedic relief side character. i write funk-infused pop songs and fortunately i have been blessed with the gift of written gab.

Just wanted to clock in on here to make a lil statement: some of you divas have been a part of my musical journey for years and years now. I am so so so fortunate to have had at least one song off of each project “perform” very well for an independent artist with zero team, connections, or marketing budget; and generally each time that happens, a surge of gorgeous divas join the following here and then i fall off the face of the earth and then i imagine you probably mostly forget who tf i am or why you followed

im here to say that I got really discouraged in my music journey a few years ago. my mental health went off the fuckin rails for like several years continuously and it led me to believe i was ready to give up on a music career, something i genuinely never thought I’d ever do. after releasing my album Interrupted, i said I didn’t know if or when there would be more music. WELL! I’m pleased to report im on a hundred psych meds, i haven’t worked an awful random day job in over a year now, and I’ve written 4 songs in the past 2 months that will be on my next project. I’m confident that this is the best music I’ve ever written. I’ve put in so much fucking work to get to where I am right now and get to writing on the level that i am currently - I’ll expand on that at another time - but I just want those of you who followed for the music at some point in the last 6 years to know: I’m so grateful to you for listening, caring, and sticking around; a LOT of new music is coming and i promise with every ounce of credibility that I have, it will be worth the wait 💚

surprise!!!!! “Clean” out everywhere

fun factoid this is a disco / nu disco cover of a lil song called Clean off a lil album called 1989 by a lil known artist named Taylor Swift. If you know the OG you’ll know this is a very very different take on it, but I always had this feeling that the chorus called for a big giant dancey moment that the original didn’t necessarily go for, so i decided- what the friggin heck! I’ll do it myself!
