RELEASE DAY !

Go check out the hot new single from super funky Afrobeat group called delu_kanam_ensemble

Delu Kanam bursts onto the scene with their debut single “Hutete”, a hypnotic blend of Afrobeat and funk infused with deep Zimbabwean roots. Sung in Shona, “Hutete” translates to the chirping sound of small birds, symbolizing movement, freedom, and the rhythm of life.

Driven by jewelling, funky guitars and the warm tones of the Fender Rhodes, the track radiates jazz-infused vibrations, while pulsating conga drums and rolling snare patterns lock in an infectious groove. Funky horns add fire to the mix, echoing the spirit of Fela but with a unique, measured intensity.

Before their first Vinyl drop in early May, the group offered up the digital only single “Hutete “ now streaming everywhere !

KoalaBeatcast 113 submission. Playing with Resolume for the first time, it's a mishmash of fx but fully automated by the AUM midi out of the arrangement (from Drambo, wireless) - the process needs work, but it's a start :D starring @rooshie.music on the wooden flute, clips scraped from youtube. by @funksmaname
