A dream it’s true… not only did I finally get to be at a Phish Halloween show but I also had the honor of playing a minor part in the most major surprise Phish has given us Phans! Thanks to @swaltien , I was asked (along with @akatsir) to help write the comic book that @jdombrowski so brilliantly illustrated. Working with these geniuses for the band I love so dearly is such a huge dream come true that I’m still spinning from it all. I’ve been a Phish fan over half my life and for 2 decades now, I’ve been surprised and delighted by their live shows. To be on this side of it was complete magic. While I knew what the ‘Costume’ for this year was for a few months now, I didn’t know *all* of the surprises for the second set, so to experience that with everyone in the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Halloween along with my best friend made for honestly one of The Best Nights I Will Ever Have. (I did not tell her or anyone else what the surprise was and for that, I’m quite proud of myself. Just know that I can keep secrets, People!) The fact that @phish and everyone who works for the band, cares so much about the fan base and creating these joy-filled experiences makes my adoration even stronger. Seeing them have so much fun on stage last night makes my heart soar. My eternal thanks to Steve for inviting me on board with Sci-Fi Soldier - I’m always up to Get More Down.

(More pics to come later, I still can’t believe it all happened. I know it did, though, so Don’t Doubt Me …)

This host segment is my favorite. The rare occassion when a writers room bit translates well into a sketch (I instantly fell in love with Mrs. Kelly as we wrote for The Mask 3D + kept talking like her the two weeks we wrote on this) and the brilliant Matt Oswalt pitched that I should *be* Mrs. Kelly in this segment. We wrote it together. Everyone’s performance is so fun. Costumes are brilliant. (Yes, I pitched that Servo should be Pinhead.) I’m not being my usual humble midwestern self when I say that I laugh every time I watch this. BUT IT IS SO SILLY AND FUN AND THAT IS WHAT WE ALL ALWAYS NEED! Happy Halloweeeeeeen!!! (Thanks, Tim for editing this with the stinger at the end.)

10 years ago! Here’s another What You saw vs. What You Didn’t See @mst3k Edition (in honor of the new @rifftrax episodes)!

In this BTS from episode 1101, @tb.timbo and @carlarudywriter use a mini-GPC puppet (voiced by @funkybeck) to deliver the Payload and a quip. Love that we got to use these small scale puppets on the show. #puppets #puppetry #puppeteers #mst3k #mysterysciencetheater3000 taken in Burbank, California by @funkybeck

We’ve been a Fambly for 24 hours now + we owe it all to the wonderful humans of @muttscouts for bringing this sweet li’l baby puppy girl to our attention, into our hearts + now she’s home! Please give a warm, wiggly welcome to Mavis Katinka Hanson.

Thanks, MuttScouts! We 💜 her.

‘Mavis take(s) us back’ to being a family of 3. We’re so happy!

Yes. Get thee to the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory Tour then bee-line yer sweet ass to The World’s Tallest File Cabinet! Treat yourself whilst in Vermont! (Tim + I had a great vacation there with our family but I’m respecting their privacy by not including pictures of them even though they’re all stunning!)
