“ The Life of a Just Sole ”

The Life of a Just Sole is described by Kyle Clark as his “physical autobiography.” This production is a family friendly dance-theater performance using the time honored Afro-Diasporic traditon of story-telling, using street dance forms with spoken word narration. The performance will explore themes of identity, family, self-expression, and the guiding force of his artistic life while introducing audiences to the history and heritage of Hip-Hop/Street Dance culture. This production was also funded by the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage and its signature work was set on the world renowned “Ailey II.”

Location: Conwell Dance Theater, Conwell Hall, 5th Floor

🔥 The Clark Method 🔥
Street Dance Training Program – FALL 2026

We’re back with the 5th installment of The Clark Method — and this one is bigger, deeper, and more transformative than ever!

📚This 10-week journey is designed for pre-professional to seasoned dancers (ages 16–35) who are ready to LEVEL UP. Through a unique blend of Foundation, Technique, Choreographic Study, Historical Analysis, and Dialog, you’ll gain more than just moves — you’ll step into a lifestyle.

✨ What makes The Clark Method different?
We don’t just train dancers, we shape artists. This program dives into what it truly means to be a Hip Hop/Street Dance Artist, guiding you through not just the steps, but the culture, the history, and the mindset that drives it all.

💥 Over 10 weeks, you’ll:
• Build and strengthen your foundations across multiple street dance forms
• Refine your technique and artistry for both stage and cypher
• Explore choreographic studies and learn to create with intention
• Gain knowledge of history and culture that grounds every movement
• Apply your training to social, performance, and competition contexts

This isn’t just a class… it’s an experience. It’s community. It’s growth. It’s The Clark Method.

🚨 Spots are limited — secure your place in this transformative program today! AUDITION is Sunday Sept. 13 4pm-6pm at the Community Education Center (3500 Lancaster Ave., Philadelphia,PA 19104) taken in CEC Community Education Center by @funkysolefundamentals
